  1. If people want a nudge I’ll kindly invite them to the mosh pit and thrash it out there - it’s just like playing rugby again - same goes for if they nudge anyone I am with
  2. You have been won over literally
  3. The bass looks interesting and I do like the new colour, but RE Patrick Hunter demo - close your eyes, it sounds the same as every other thing he reviews, literally he makes all pedals/effects sound the same
  4. Darkglass collaborated with Yamaha - would it be a RayB’s
  5. Can I just check that the only thing not stock is the tuners, bridge, electronics and added tug bar, otherwise it’s the same?
  6. Just Re-reading the thread and sorry to be a pedant but are P90’s not actually single coils just made by Gibson? If you like them then single coils can fill the gap in three pieces…
  7. Haha - sorry for ruining a sale!
  8. I have both - I use the FEA with all switches dipped and it gives a great old school type flavour, great tone - I keep the Cali to be punchy as - honestly - it’s so much fun you don’t even need to have the cali as a limiter - just use both as you would do for a different flavour
  9. Get this and the Cali - you won’t be disappointed
  10. I think I managed to pick up my second for £120 - that was/is a bargain!!!
  11. I have 2 DP3X’s and a PSA 2.0 you need both in your life - note NEED!
  12. I haven’t heard of any aftermarkets, but do you not fancy having a play yourself?!
  13. I nearly bid to get a 3rd one, but great price for whomever got it
  14. Strat for y’all Yammy Pacifica (I think) strat like and a 12 string-3 is all you need!
  15. Guitar solo serves the song, bass serves the solo - yes some guitar double tracking but this would work live, vocal harmonies fill, and a darned good rock song
  16. This isn’t a 3 piece - but believe me having seen him live his bass tone is huge - to me this is a great example of space in a bassline and appropriate noodling when required as well as being an awesome rock song. Its not till you see him play it you realise the extras, odd ghost/mute notes Glenn puts in. https://www.instagram.com/tv/CPiB9XRBK8O/?utm_medium=copy_link
  17. Agreed with Western Digital - so far Seagate has been great for me
  18. Reading back over this and other threads there are loads of things - jack wiring, pot wiring come loose, cold solder rears it’s ugly head etc. Most things can be fixed, but (again it’s personal for everyone) despite me being happy to do a complete Re-wire, I have a double gig bag which is not too much more hassle than a single one, so taking a second, quick change and diagnose and fix the problem later seems the easier option imho, and if never required, well I have just gotten stronger in the process.
  19. I am by no means an expert and the posts above encapsulate things nicely. I would favour staying Mac and using Logic Pro X. Windows OS and how it works are now becoming so close to Mac’s you may as well stay. So far as navigating a Mac - it would be worth visiting a Genius Bar in a store (if they are doing it) and or spending some time on you tube tutorials of which there are loads to help. collaborating with others and different programs is not normally a problem either as importing and exporting tracks is easy and compatible. Once you get around navigation, and create your own workflow I think you will be flying
  20. Open question not to demonise - for the ones who fervently against taking a spare, if you did (unfortunately) have a failure which would have necessitated having a spare to solve the issue would it change your perception or would you write it off as one of those things? Would it also depend on what gig, size, function etc. Genuine interest, because some people here have developed their practice based on personal misfortune or misfortune to those they know.
  21. Respectfully disagree about the guitar -humbuckers and P90’s are great - but you can make a strat or a tele sound huge as well Ty Tabor uses a Strat live and has used various strat like ones over the years as an example - it depends on how it all fits together
