  1. @Quatschmacher I have a MarloweDK if you are passing bristol-but it’s neck profile is even thinner than a standard 4 string Sandy - it’s bloody lovely tho
  2. That’s ok buddy - different folks different strokes. G&L are fine fine basses - I just think that the MFD’s are too much and too in your face with less refinery than the LB for example, I always felt it was a fight. For me then MFD’s are best straight to amp/desk - any pre amps before an amp - it was hard to dial in for me. I went through 2 ASAT’s and an L1500. Either which way - cracking bass you will get as stock or modded. Enjoy!!
  3. Have done - they can certainly do it and do it well
  4. LB pick up is waaaaaay better than the MFD ones Hope you get it
  5. Except if they do the 51 spec with a rounded heel…..
  6. ‘It’s true - I don’t often follow the path of least resistance
  7. Pick ain’t that bad for us clumsy fingers folk!
  8. Good work!!!! glad it’s just about there
  9. Not posh - fun, price point is irrelevant really, as that and value is all relative
  10. Hence the word another young padawan…..attention to detail my good fellow and you may become a master……!
  11. Yep it would have to be very special at this point for me for other guitars and other equipment in a lot of areas to peak my interest
  12. Why the Tech21 dUg Pinnick DP3X pedal of course! EQ with mid shift Drive Distortion Crossover (albeit fixed) Compression Tuner Fits the definition of multi!!
  13. Oh I May have also gotten another of the best Muli-fx pedal on the market - could be this year or last, I think this year
  14. The bass is smiling - it’s going to a good home - jazz neck on a P - lush - I love my P with a status Jazz neck 💪🏾👊🏾👌🏾🤘🏾
  15. Just the usual hoard of Tech21 stuff, compressors and various bitsa’s - standard fare really - nothing as exciting as the Krowmania
  16. Okee Dokee let us know when it comes out in the wild and what you have settled on to songs, settings etc
  17. Any room for actual synth as well as ‘pseudo’ synth?
  18. Nice work - B3k is way more versatile than DG drive - looks like you found a sweet spot as well as that little spark Really good info on how you use your kit 👊🏾💪🏾🤘🏾
  19. Tidy pedalboard and set up What songs are you using the FI/sound modulators on and what settings? is the VT pedal/drive always on and how does the zoom fit in/is it used? Bugera wins for functions above the DG AO - how so -strengths of each? Berg vs BF cab you have (BB2 I think) did the BF struggle in functions you are playing to outweigh its greater portability? Would be good info for us all
  20. Aye they are very expensive, but, if they sound as good as they do on the Element (I haven’t played through one in the flesh) then they are very good. Agreed with @Wolverinebass Back to the bag, £200 is very top end I think everyone can agree. Lamanta make some beautiful stuff, but, this is standard. i am sure it will be quality tho like most things made by/associated with DG
