  1. That’s terrible. I hope UPS are compensating you and your buyer.
  2. It also looks like a defretted neck to me, you can see fret lines but not like fret markers on a factory lined fretless.
  3. I’ve got the Blackstar headphone amp which looks pretty similar and performs well. It has an in- built rhythm track which is ok-ish but needs taming.
  4. Ehhmm……hadn’t thought of that.
  5. Anything by Weather Report, all of which will be challenging.
  6. Looking through here, I wonder whether this might look better with a black scratch plate or even tort! What do others think?
  7. Now that could be overdoing it a bit, but it is a very nice blue. Are you a Cambridge supporter?
  8. Looking at other basses on here I wonder if this would look better with a black pickguard or even tort! What do others think?
  9. Looks like I’m the only person with one, it feels kinda lonely.
  10. Nice. You better add that to the blue bass thread.
  11. Didn’t Overwater used to make one, I think it was called the C bass.
  12. I think it looks brilliant, never seen one before. I had an EB2 in the past, the mudbucker was great, nothing sounds like it.
  13. I’ve travelled with a guitar on both EasyJet and ElAl. No charge but size limited and a bass would be too big. I have a 12fret parlour guitar which is just right. Saw a guy trying to get on with a bass in a soft case once. How he got past the ground staff I have no idea, but the cabin crew would not let it on and were offering to put in the hold!!!!
  14. I should think devising that design was pretty difficult too. I don’t want to be rude and each to his own, but that’s probably the ugliest bass I’ve ever seen.
  15. Reduced from $10k+ to $100 - yeah sure. I smell a scam.
  16. I think it’s interesting that despite the world and it’s sound engineer going on about the P having the pickup in the perfect sweet spot, the world’s most recorded bass has the pickup moved forward closer to the neck.
