  3. Godin’ out of my head - Little Anthony and the Imperials
  4. The thrill has gone - BB King
  5. I noticed the bass player was on a Sadowsky and a couple of the teles were by luthiers. Gibson and Taylor were out front for acoustics with Martin trailing behind.
  6. Good to see BBC devote a chunk of prime time Saturday viewing to the concert celebrating 100 years of the Opry. Can’t say they were my favourite acts from the US, but the house band were great. I wish the chosen UK acts had represented some of the British Country talent, may be the Shires or Remember Monday.
  7. That’s an interesting concept, never seen a fretless Thunderbird before.
  8. Is this an age thing/ type of music problem?
  9. Wishin’ & hopin’ - Dusty Springfield
  10. Blue moon of Kentucky- Bill Monroe
  11. Very handsome, great piece of wood.
  12. There’s one for sale on the Marketplace here.
  13. Up around the bend - Creedance Clearwater Revival
  14. I wonder if Mr. Trump’s tariffs have played a part which presumably are applied to the Tribute series basses which I guess probably sell better than there more expensive US made counterparts. G&L was never a brand that had the same “Leo” magic as Fender & Musicman.
  15. My lighthouse - Rend Collective
  16. Bought strap locks from Iain. Excellent transaction by post. Thanks.
  17. I had forgotten to add the weight. Using travel scales it comes in at a light 3.3kg. It is a hollow body ( no centre block like most Gibson derivatives) but the body is quite large.
  18. Very attractive subtle colour and great grain.👍🏼
  19. Reeling’ in the yEars - Steely Dan
  20. Still available - gold is calling!
  21. I expect Sandberg had a lawyers letter sometime ago.
  22. I have used a capo from time to time on a 5 string. The only downside is the thickness of strings, you’ll need a capo with a strong spring, probably not a Shubb.
