  1. I have faced similiar issues to download and getting started. Eventually I ended up watching tutorial You Tube videos regarding Ableton live.
  2. I had one mic pointed at strumming hand and the other at the 12th fret. I used a third mic pointed at the guutar from about 2 metres for ambience. The result was perfect.
  3. You mean Floyd Rose trem with fine tuners? Must be good for dive bombs then.
  4. Does it come with a ladder to tune it up?
  5. Would you sell the neck only?
  6. It depends on the situation. I only record at home. One p bass and one jazz bass 4 string each. If I need drop D or other tuning I re tune.
  7. Sorry to hijack the thread but since the big fuss kicked off about rosewood I'm struggling to find a replacement on UK market. They used to be £70 for strat necks.
  8. Focusrite scarlet 18i8 was the outcome. So far so good. Well I hooked up three microphones. Job well done.
  9. I used Behringer C2 microphones in ORTF configuration to record an acoustic guitar and I can't be happier with the result. For the money they perform well.
  10. Susan or bag pipes?
  11. Great drums. I wish I could compose drums like you. The bass sound and style at the start reminds me of Cliff Burton. Good work. I now replaced my broken laptop screen so will be recording next week. Got some tricks under my sleeve and bought a new instrument to utilise it in the comp.
  12. I can't find anything at the moment. How about opening the song in Audacity then slowing down the tempo and use eq to bring low end out.
  13. lol i only read bon jovi and skim read the rest
  14. lol
  15. https://www.songsterr.com/a/wsa/bon-jovi-lay-your-hands-on-me-bass-tab-s3148t2 took less than 1 minute to find these two

  17. I rehearsed this song in 1998 but never played it live. I've learnt it by ear. Sure nowadays somewhere on You Tube there's a lesson?
  18. The band can be called: The Lowenders
  19. This. I prefer p bass but my iazz sits better in my trash metal and techno recordings.
  20. December 1989 somewhere in Europe. Age 16.
  21. plastic or wood pegs?
  22. I've been using Focusrite Scarlet 2i2 1st gen for 5 years. Compatible with Windows 7, 10 and I believe with Mac(although I've no experience with Mac). Interface usually comes with a free DAW (recording software) and other free plug ins. I have no experience with any other interface but I can't fault focusrite 2i2. Recorded in excess of 40 of my own songs from punk, rock, metal, acoustics, electronic, some pop. It's a reliable and quality built product. Do your research first as there are lots of great products and each may come with extra DAW etc. As for DAW I occasionally use Audacity to slow diwn songs or devide left and right channel. I tried free version of Reaper but dudnt like it. As dad3353 said there is a thread on subject.
  23. How about the lefty basses. This thread is about righty, right?
