It looks much better than a Badass (never liked the style of their bridges). If you look at the new Fender American Standard Bridges (2008-) the backplate looks VERY similar to this one on WoTs.

I want the Max 9.2. Don't really need cabs/combos like the 6.2 12T (although would never say no) but the Max 9.2 really does have everything I want.

Definitely not. I'd opt for another cabinet to add (more speakers is better than pummelling one with lots of watts). The Shuttle 6.0 will not hold out as well against their latest amps or the RH amps. Been there and tried it. The 6.0 is great but it was designed with the compact Shuttle cabs in mind. Try the 9.0 or the new Genz shuttles if you fancy more power and a different amp.

The Shuttle 6.0 will get absolutely eaten alive by the RH450/Classic 450 when it comes to volume levels, no matter what the wattage. The Shuttle 9.0 is probably the same 'volume' when it comes to actual output when you turn it up, and that's taking into account the volume tapers. I am saying this even though I LOVE Genz amps and their amazing customer service. If you are using the large BF cab, choose an amp that isn't going to need the bass bumping a lot, (the Shuttle 6.0 Hi Pass filter is designed to protect the little Shuttle cabinets...the absolute low end will be quite shy because of the design unless you boost the low end a lot). Basically, the new Shuttle 6.2, old Shuttle 9.0 or new Shuttle 9.2 should be your choice. If you don't care about size, get the Max 9.2 All manufacturers seem to get the wattage wrong. Markbass LM2/3s seems to put out under 400watts, but are rated at 500. They clamp down with their limiters quite harshly as well. Not pleasant like Genz and TC amps where you can literally turn it all the way up and not care. I would worry less about small magazines using unscientific testing in a vacuum to test 'wattage'. Whatever TC do, they are ahead of the game when it comes to engineering and it IS beyond what we understand on here. I'm sorry, but are any of us involved in high end amplification design and manufacturer? I mean to the level of TC?! No. Most of us are reading forums and not using our ears. Some of their products really are light years ahead of what others are making, (high end effects, amazing tuner pedals, etc). I recommend you try: TC RH750 Genz Streamliner 900 Genz Shuttle 6.2, 9.0, 9.2 or the Max 9.2

It isn't down to the speaker size, don't worry. It's how the cabs are designed, the speaker spec, tuning, etc. Some 15" loaded cabs can sound VERY punchy and clear and don't need any kind of extra tweeter, some 10" loaded cabs have an absolute huge low end and little in terms of mid punch (Epifani 4x10). It seems from EBS's description that the Classicline ARE voiced towards a more 'vintage' tone (less in the high mids no doubt) but I agree, if you A/B the Pro 2x10 and the Classicline 1x12, you may think the speaker size is making the difference, and I agree, most the time it SEEMS like mainstream manufacturers make their 12" loaded cabs to fit into what we expect a 12" to sound like...so its a vicious circle.

Never liked ramps. I love diggin in. Cool bass!

GuitarGuitar in Newcastle wouldn't price match a simple Hiscox case that I wanted to buy WITH a £1000 bass. Soundslive Newcastle offered to sell me the same case, new from their depot, for £15.00 less and I WOULDN'T be buying a bass with it. I tried to discuss this with GuitarGuitar but they didn't understand. They lost a sale on the bass and the case for being difficult over £15.00. They have a fantastic range but the prices are usually very high.

Similar amps, but with the 3DPM from the Streamliner and some other tweaks. Apparently they revoiced the signal shape filters as well. The interesting thing is the new Shuttle 6.2 combos. The cabs look very modern and have been redesigned yet are still light. I'm still tempted to pick up a 9.0 or 6.0 12T combo and not worry about the upgrades, but we shall see! I presume Bass Direct will have pre-order prices very soon.

Bass Direct would do well to do amp+one cab and amp+two cab packages.

It's worth baring in mind that the back strength was not my original aim, I just started to want to get in shape. It was just an advantage that I didn't think about until I was exercising more. I do it because I'm interested in keeping healthy, staying trim, and because I'm extremely vain haha.
