    Just about to tackle this song, sounds like I might have a bit of work ahead of me Has anyone else ever played it or have you managed to avoid it all these years.

    Mine has to be my Shuker Jazz 5. The reason being is that I had a lovely Fender Jazz FMT 4 string that basically stopped me playing any 5 string I bought. Every time I bought a 5 string to learn on it could never measure up to my Fender and I always found myself picking up the Fender..................until I bought the Shuker. To be fair to the Fender it was probably better than the Shuker and I was gutted when I sold it but the Shuker is by far the best 5 string I've played and is the only Bass I play these days (apart from my Crafter Acoustic in my acoustic band).

    It does look like the original logo has been sanded off at some point. Also I don't think I've seen an MX serial number before, maybe they're running out of MZ's.

    It's amazing how a story has a different side to it once both parties have their say. I think (as others have said) getting a 3rd party involved is the way forward with this one seeing as there's a stalemate.
