1. There's usually some on special offer at Sellafield ...
2. The new Barefaced cabs work like smartphones. When you turn them on their sides, the logo automatically relocates to stay legible.
3. Hmmmm. Sounds like Volterra or San Gimignano. I know an English sound engineer (and bassist!) who spends chunks of the year at his second home in Umbria, so he'd be about 100km away. Probably too far, but I'll ask him if he knows anyone who can help.
4. Big place, Tuscany. Roughly whereabouts will the wedding be? Yes, I have a reason for asking! I may know the right person to help. Makes quite a difference whether it's north of Pisa as opposed to south of Arezzo. A bit like north of Lincoln as opposed to south of Watford.
5. Yup, slinging a double bass on a single Strapp just doesn't work, does it?
6. When did he start calling himself Crowford then?
7. It's coming around again ...
8. Rotating gear? I used to have a Leslie ...
9. Maybe it's the photography, but I'm not convinced that's the original finish, and the fretboard looks odd to me. That, plus it's a crushed vertebra waiting to happen ...
10. I find people are too busy laughing to offer any comment.
11. Biggest hard nut? No problem.

13. I see you've crossed Angela Merkel off the list then ...
14. We were just standing in for Wet Wet Wet.
15. My long term guitar tech works on Nash basses quite frequently. He is very uncomplimentary about them, both as relics and as players. There are much better mojo basses available, and for less money.
16. This is why I won't store my music in the cloud.
17. Could well be worth that for the spares ...
18. The first fruits of Brexit ...

21. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Custom-Built-Hofner-Left-Hand-Acoustic-Bass-Guitar-/222152876319?hash=item33b957e11f:g:g~MAAOSwvg9XYBIv It's not a "custom left-handed acoustic bass", it's a right-handed neck from an old violin bass glued to the body of a semi-acoustic guitar. Apparently it's "left-handed" because it's been strung that way. God knows where the scale length has ended up, or whether the intonation actually works. The parts used may well be from 1963/64. They could equally well be from almost any other year in a 20-year period. Run away!
22. In Nashville, set aside an entire evening just to drift from bar to bar along the strip. The quantity of music, and the standard of musicianship and showmanship on display on any random evening will take your breath away. Then the locals tell you that the best musicians playing in bars tonight never play the strip ...
23. You are insufficiently weird, and far too predictable. You need something by Earthquaker Devices ... http://earthquakerdevices.com/ They're effects, Nancy, but not as we know it.
24. Damn! I'm playing at a street market by Kew Gardens Station on 3rd July. That's only a mile from Richmond, but we're playing at lunchtime so your trip to London will be in vain ... you'll have missed my gig.
25. Legacy of a stolen motorbike. Comes with the KTM Powerparts catalogue 2014.
