Boss RC2 & Line 6 Echo Park for sale
dub_junkie replied to CuticleThorns's topic in eBay - Weird and Wonderful
The Echo Park is an brilliant delay pedal. I've a Toneport UX2 and a Pod XT LIve too, but I prefer the delays off the echo park to both of them. I'm never selling mine ever! good luck with the sale -
I recently took this in part ex against a guitar of mine and as I always wanted to learn I thought I'd put the effort in to do so. Anyway it hasnt worked out like that, time is already constricted enough and I've no time for starting out with saxophone. Also I'm buying a car this week and need to sell a few bits and pieces so this is first up http://s152.photobucket.com/albums/s162/du...r%20Alto%20Sax/ Everything is is working order thoughout. postage would probably work out about £10 or so cheers Keir

as good as they are,I dont think the TRibutes feel anything like a USA G&L.maybe the Japanese ones cnt say I've never tried one but the Korean and newer indonesian ones a definite NO

hello and welcome, it may be better to introduce yourself here and then post your bass in the FS section?.

nice! I owned one of these for a year or so. cost me £99 from SC and it was worth every penny. glad I bought the mini rig and not the Superfly head which is what I went in there for that day.

Question for all the Jazz bass fans on here Would G&L's new JB bass be on your radar if you were looking at a new Jazz,be it a Fender,Lakland,Sadowsky Metro etc? I'm curious to see if Fender players who normally see G&L as a little quirky would GAS after one of these.

I have a single H with a maple board (used to have another single H with a rosewood board) and the maple is maybe a tad snappier sounding, rosewood more rounded perhaps. It was the same with a pair of Sterlings when I owned both at the same time. I much prefer the look of rosewood however and apart from the odd bit of lemon oil,its low maintenance.the gunstock oil/wax finish on the maple boards however gets quite grubby unless you clean it fairly reguarly imo. still, for some thats all part of the vibe. You've still got the same finish on the back of the neck whichever board you choose.

I do miss the tones from my white Bongo 4HS (Power of Ten on here has it nowadays).Nothing I've owned since comes close soundwise but niggly things stopped me keeping it. One day I will probably get a 4H with the 3EQ.

I like it too and I agree it'd look even nicer with a black plate
Dub Man Ah well, glad to hear that you got some pleasure from it and sent it on to a good home. Have bought a black m/n tribute from Hartnolls and it should be here on saturday. Jez
Jerry, yes m8 it was a great bass that tribute of yours - actually was making me feel bad about my USA G&Ls at the time. anyway it went to DLloyd on here and I'm pretty sure he still has it. heres a pic of it amongst friends when I was loving G&Ls maybe a bit too much (I only have the SB-2 on the right nowadays) anyway congrats on the black/maple L2000. I take it you didnt see the blue MM Sterling on ebay at the moment? the seller is from your neck of the woods. cheers Keir

+1 on the MusicMan Sterling. (by a considerable margin) my favourite neck shape. Especially with a rosewood board, just beautiful to play.
take my example and go for both best part of a status and the best part of a stingray combined
+1 I still miss my trans teal 2EQ Stingray with the Status MM neck. jezzaboy,I bought your Tribute L2K from you and then sold it onto another basschatter in Dundee for the same money. It was a great bass-with G&L a year ago it was ok bringing them in from the States but the exchange rate has put a stop to that. the cherryburst semi hollow Asat that tonyf has FS at the moment is a cracking bass. I owned and gigged it for a while and it had a monstrously big tone. I'd have it back in a heartbeat if I had the readies but I've still got a beauty of a USA SB-2. if you ever want a play on it let me know.

cant wait to try one one of these Sterling by Musicman basses. specifically the SB14 ones. red, blue,or black with matching headstock-not fussed.
Spector announces a new option of EMG MM4 and MM5 active pickups on both USA neck thru and bolt on neck models. These wide aperture pickups sense a longer area of the string and deliver a very wide range of fundamental and overtone signals. These pickups will primarily be place in the bridge position of the Spector basses and matched with a DC pickup in the neck position. The upcharge for this option is $200 on any of the standard model Spector handmade USA instruments.
love it. in a thru neck I'f love it even more

'94 MM Albert Lee in the original (and best) colour. lightweight southern ash, with figured maple neck, 3 Seymour Duncan Alnico Pro IIs single coils, comes with original G&G cream tolex hardcase guitar is in lovely condition. It has had a number of mods done to it by the previous owner to me who is a member of the ebmm boards. 1/ Refretted with Dunlop jumbo wire by Mark at Feline Guitars in London 2/ Earvana compensated nut fitted for better intonation, again by Mark at Feline 3/ WD pearloid pickguard fitted (sry no longer have plain white original) 4/ Pearloid tuner buttons lifted from an MM Axis I used to have.(again dont have chrome schaller buttons sry) I've owned the guitar a couple of years and its a really sweet thing, its a hybrid strat/tele sounding guitar (bridge p/up has a metal baseplate to help mimic the Telecaster tone. each p/up position sounds fabalous. It's better than any other Strat/Tele I've ever owned/played/come across. Period. Nothing touches it for twang imo. However I need funds for a new car so some of my gear will have to go. I could possibly be interested in taking a Tele in part ex but as the object of the excercise is getting cash in,it would need to be something like a G&L Tribute Asat,Fender Lite ash or Mexican classic series Cash wise offers around £850 accepted next day courier via APC Overnight will be £20 to mainland UK incl insurance couldnt get the burst to show so the last pic is taken in different light and whilst its not truly representative of the burst (more blended and subtle in the flesh) it at least shows the burst element to the finish. All the other pics make it look red for some reason

the Strat jack socket kills the looks for me.shame as its otherwise quite nice
