I've gone from eight to two basses (4 string fretted and electro acoustic) over the last 3 years and those two are now gigged reguarly - no basses lying in cases anymore for me. I'm also learning to live with GAS and not habitually cave in either though that has been tougher than giving up cigs sometimes. -
Sold my Boss Bass Limiter/Enhancer to Dan this week. He paid straight away and let me know when it arrived. Would deal with him again without a second thought. Cheers.

I owned this bass for a couple of years. Having had a couple of Asat basses and a SB2, I prefer the G&L #8 jazz necks and I waited a while to find an L2K such as this with one. Unfortunately the need to buy a new car forced me to cull my G&L collection or else I would have kept this. Such a gorgeous looking bass and a great player too.I can only imagine the set up is now near perfect with the graphite neck. GLWTS -

I just bought Pete's USA Ovation Elite bass. What can I say but a really great guy to deal with. He threw in a set of strings FOC and shipped for free as well. Great service. Top bloke! Btw the bass is a beauty. An absolute bargain considering the build quality, playability and tone. It is joining my small yet perfectly formed Ovation collection of four and will be well used on my bass playing gig :-)

Gaz bought my G&L L-2000 from me this week. Easy chap to deal with who paid quickly and without fuss. Surprised he has time to browse internet forums with all the music projects he has going on :-) Deal with the utmost confidence.

I owned this bass for about a year in 08/09 and I nearly had it back off Richard once but he decided to hold on to it at that time. I mean it when I say I haven't owned a bass with a better fit and finish than this Valenti. Everything about its construction was just spot on and playing it was effortless and inspiring. If I had the funds for it these days I would buy it again in a heartbeat. Carlos just did a deal with me. he sent me his G&L (which I now have)and paid the cash difference ahead of me sending his Musicman Bongo to him. He likely wont see the Bongo until tuesday. A true gent and a pleasure to deal with and speak on the phone to. I'm loving the G&L Carlos. I'm sure you will feel same about the Bongo 5HH All the best Keir

I love it! When i first got it (used) the strings were too light and the floating bridge made things a bit of a nightmare. I've since lowered the action and gone to 12 gauge strings and everything is much,much better now. I play in an indie/alternative rock covers band and the other members have all commented on the looks and sound of the Ibanez. The result is the strat isnt getting a look in nowadays. Feedback can be a bit hairy on high gain settings though. All in a wonderful guitar after a set up :-)

Either a musicman Bongo HH or a G&L L-2000. The first super versatile hi-fi sounding and the other super versatile dark, organic sounding. Funny enough I'm in the process of changing from the former to the latter this coming week. -
bought a Joyo sweet baby overdrive from Jose. really knowledgable fella,very helpful and a true credit to the basschat community. second time I've traded with him,sure there will be others in the future. thanks again!

FT Boss DD-3 (trade clean boost/RV-5/WHY)

Thanks for the offer but I have a compressor pedal already on my board. Looking for a simple clean boost pedal at the end of my FX board which hopefully doesn't colour the tone any. Alternatively looking for a RV-5 for its modulated setting Could also be tempted by something Mooer! -
