I had the 4 string version of this bass, the L-1500 for a few years and had a USA L-2000 at the same time. The 2 pickup bass could not cut through like the single pick up one or be made to sound like it from my experience. The L-1500 was probably the hottest sounding bass I've owned. I used it mostly with the switches set to passive and series and with the treble backed off a fair bit. Congratulations on the bass. It looks lovely!

Mooer / Gojira FX shimverb. These pedals caused a bit of a hoo-ha on the harmony central forum as they were reported as being Mooer shimverbs hand painted and then sold on at boutique prices.You can check out Gojira FX on facebook and google the story behind these pedals as well. Nice little pedal as it is, it has not been able to shift my Boss RV5 and its brilliant modulation setting from its place on my pedal board. Boss LMB-3 Bass Limiter/Enhancer excellent condition. very slight scuffing. boxed with manual. Playing guitar more these days so would trade for one of the following : CS-3 compression/sustainer would also be interested in an LS-2 or a TU-2 as well must be in likewise condition. cheers Keir -
Model 1769 with optima preamp. all the usual Custom Legend features. made in 1996 excellent consition. couple of small marks on the top and a fairly slight push dent in the top above the soundhole,looks like only the finish has been pushed in,ie not through to wood or split. No laquer cracks in top. comes with fitted Ovation hard case Great example of a top of the range Ovation.! Looking for £695 or will trade for bass ie Musicman (Stingray or Sterling) G&L,Lakland,Spector etc -

possible last bump. may take a bass in p/ex (G&L Tribute,MM Sub,Sterling by MM,Fender etc) but will need at least half the value in cash as I already have my eyes on something else.

I like it! I still hanker after the fullerton red G&L Legacy I sold to you. I had owned that guitar from new,imported directly from the States. I was fond of the neck on that guitar.it was different from anything else I had at that time,G&L's included - it was a big old handful....sounds fairly similiar in profile to this one? Man I miss my G&L's - at one time I had the red Legacy, a black Asat Special and a blueburst Invader XL Std. great guitars......

Either a '99 or '00 (can't remember which) The colour is pearl lavender. I've never seen another SR5 in this finish,which was discontinued around 2001. There are no structural,electronic or playability issues with the bass. Cosmetically there are a few nicks and dings in the finish. The original strap buttons have been replaced with what looks like schaller straplocks. The top horn screwhole has been re-drilled at some point but I've had no issues whatsoever with this.More visibly,the neck is grubby in places. It was like this when I bought the bass five years ago. It hasnt got any dirtier in the time I've had it as its been reguarly waxed. The bass is also missing the white switch tip. Musicman hard case is included in the sale. The bass weighs 9lb 11oz. It balances well and plays great. I kept this over G&L's,Bongo 5 strings,Spector Euro 5's and some other right tasty basses and in truth I will will be sad to see it go but I'm playing skinny strings in a band these days and need to fund further purchases on that side of things [IMG]http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s162/dub_junkie/Musicman%20Stingray%205/IMG_2076.jpg[/IMG] . Price is £795. Viewing and collection from just outside Ayr, Ayrshire. Could meet if further afield and would post if buyer arranges this. I have the vibrato,pre amp booster,spectrum enhancer and tm300 amp modeller pedals. No problems with any of them at all. Going to buy the slow gear and dimension C copies as well.
