1. Hi Jim, Is this still available? I'm in Brighton area. Cheers
2. ok, warnings noted! thanks guys. Buzztard - you ask why? i'm on a tight budget, basically, and have plenty of new expenses coming up in the house etc. I'll focus on keeping it to headphones. Thanks.
3. I have one of these. Having owned full-fat stingray and sterling, i can say hand-on-heart it's VERY close in sound and feel. Mine is going nowhere!
4.
I would think you need a line level input into the NAD.
yeah, this makes sense. FYI - I have an active musicman sterling - SB14 Even with line out, will this not stress the speakers?
5. Hi All, I guess I should know this - but I rarely use my over-spec'd (TC RS112) cab and should sell it. Can I use my bass head (GK MBE-150e III) going straight into my NAD amp and then into some high end 'bookshelf' speakers (Q acoustics 2010)?! Which outputs on the GK should I use (http://gallienkrueger.mivamerchant.net/wp-content/uploads/MB150-III-Manual.pdf)? It will only be living room levels (flat/ apartment). Cheers!

7. Don't think this will last long - not half because it is againt ebay roles to offer private deal! LOL. anyway, great price. I have one of these and it is awesome. A huge step above the eastern SUB series. Not really that far off from a San Luis Obispo model... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sterling-by-Music-Man-SB-14-Bass-Guitar-/322335559585?&_trksid=p2056016.l4276
8. drat. fair enough - thanks guys. I do not want it to sound like doo-doo, so I guess a woofer is a down-the-line purchase. Thanks for expert insights... really helpful!
9. Hi All, I have a hifi rig i'd like to boost with a woofer... a TC RS112. The amp is a NAD 3020i - it has the stand connectors for left and right channels (screw connectors - 2 for each channel). How would I even begin adding the TC to this mix, considering speaker load and all that drama? I'm pretty newto this stuff - and have not been able to find anything online. cheers!

11. argggh! Will it ever end?! G.A.S It's a good thing I never buy new... but i'll defo be getting one in a few years. I guarantee!
12. I 2nd Wonky2: I have a sterling (although its a SB14 - Indonesian). Very versatile - but hard to dial out the core nature of the beast.
13.
The best Stingray bass you can buy is the Musicman USA Sterling
couldn't agree more
