1. Offers on package or Trade Bait - Roland Cube 30 for GUITAR or Line6 Spider 30 for GUITAR type combo or similar, though if I sell the effects out right then I will look to purchase a second hand combo anyway.
2. Anyone like to make me an offer I can't refuse?
3. Bumping back up to the first page. I'll be interested in offers within reason and may be able to work with you on a deal. Looking to sell soon and will probably be putting on eBay either this weekend or next with some other gear.

I met Samuel today and bought his GT10B. Great to do business with and had a jolly good 'Bass Chat' in a hotel car park. Thanks mate! Brilliant!
5. Looks great! - For 'ampy' tones I really like Ampeg's SVX - which has some great noises on board, but I'm going to try this plug in when I have a moment, for sure! Thank you for posting!
6. 11. "mostly bad".. errrm, not true!
7. Annnnd I need another to match!
8. hi! I'm a total fan of headless basses. Since 'doing my back in' my Shuker headless has been an absolute godsend - it still retains a big fat tone yet the lack of headstock means my shoulder and back get zero grief from it! The advantages well outweigh any disadvantage and I don't give a monkeys what close minded people think about headless instruments! It's their loss Anyway, Here's a selection of Jon's headless basses including my own flip paint finish bass (looking purple in this picture), CrazyKiwi's next to it and Johngh's (now sold) blonde beauty below. 9. Did I say, they are...awesome!?
10. Awesome cabs! I have a pair of 4.5XL cabs and they are awesome!
11. One of the many highlights of the G Major 2 is it's ability to switch external amplifiers and effects as part of a patch change, so that you can switch a guitar amp channel and add effects with the touch of one button instead of using a separate channel changer. I've included some web prices of the G Major on it's own: http://www.dv247.com/guitars/tc-electronic...rocessor--61530 £469.00 http://www.thomann.de/gb/tc_electronic_gmajor_2.htm 419.17 GBP
12. A cheeky bump for an absolute bargain! Effects unit AND full compliment MIDI controller for £320!!!!!
13. My favourite BassChat thread by a clear mile! Love all of your basses everyone!
14.
In which case good luck with the sale. Hopefully I'll be able to pop over for an intensive lesson soon(ish) as my band are just about to start gigging!!!
I'll be happy to book you in! Expect a good thrashing!
15.
I take your staccato750 and raise you the staccatosmith
I believe I have just been trumped! - It's a shame that 'smith is in such an unnecessary huge case.. it's not like it needs the room like an SVT 2/Mesa 400. I'd like to see 1000W in a 1u size, if it's a rackable head. Funnily, i'd been in touch with a couple of manufacturers some 5 years ago about such a design, but it seems my ideas were missed!
16.
Cheers Dood I do recall getting your advice on this very subject, from what you have said mate i think you would like the staccato a lot. ( gently placing a GAS seed in Dood's head)........................
Awww you little monkey you! I managed to divert my GAS elsewhere whilst I was talking to Molan about the Staccato! - I'm sure it'll just get worse if they bring out a Staccato 750!!
17.
I don't have the spare pennies at the moment and the next bunch is on a second cab However I am curious whats replacing this?
Hey Charic! - I have to admit that I'm not really replacing it with anything! - I've been using less and less effects in this particular system and have really been enjoying just using a distortion pre / EQ combination straight in to my LH head. a pedal to boost for solos etc. However I am looking at a floor unit that I will use for teaching and workshops and a project that I am doing without the need for a rack system. Oh.. and I need a couple of combos for teaching with!
18. Gear incoming, this one is ready to go! Any interest?
19. Sale pending......
20. For what it's worth, when I owned an RH450, the overwhelming feeling was that I should have gotten the Stacc'. I still have an F1 that I use as a backup these days but I never pursued the Stacc' when I got hold of my current rig. Congrats on new amp day!
21. Thanks Gwilym! Yes, I have a MarkBass F1 as well as the Hartke LH1000 and they both sound great with the Acme cab extended bottom end. I'm selling the Acme as I am funding a Bass combo and a Guitar combo for my teaching. I'd keep the cab if I had both the space and the spare cash!
22. I'm afraid there's been a little delay. The lambs wool for my monthly order has to come from a lamb born in that month and apparently my last order was the July edition not August and I can't go without fresh undergarments! I'm making the factory work throughout the night so I have some to wear tomorrow. Sigh... Just can't get the staff!
