  1. Royal Mail is away to pot at the moment. Sent a pedal first class signed for, they aim to deliver next working day and it took 13 days to reach the buyer.
  2. Just think of the other poor sod with 2 right sandals! Back on topic. I very much doubt Andertons will have opened the box to check the amp, I just don`t think that big box shifters do this. Unless it was out on the shop floor, you might think that they would have tested it before sending it out.
  3. Maybe a bit high on the price so £100 collected.
  4. How about this for a deal. The Bugera head advertised on here plus the Ashdown 4 x 10 and a high quality Award Session speakon cable, collected from Paisley or local meet up for £300!! That`s a 700 watt head, 4 ohms 600 watt lightweight cab, a set up that will handle any gig which would cost £800 if you were to buy it all new. Got to be worth a drive to Bonnie Scotland
  5. Cab now sold, head still available.
  6. Sold a pedal to Lawrie. He paid for it right away and was very patient as it was posted 1 st class but took nearly 2 weeks to deliver it! Good old Royal Mail! Thanks Lawrie
  7. Sold a cab to Vin and it was a pleasure doing business with him. And he has the coolest name on Basschat! Thanks
  8. Harley Benton JB-62CC BK for sale only. Bought this recently but need to slim down the flock so as I usually do after buying a Jazz type bass, this is now for sale only. This is in exc condition, just a small nick on the end of the headstock. I have replaced the bridge and tuners which cost £60 and are an improvement on the original parts. The neck is caramelized Canadian hard rock maple and the body is poplar, DAddario EXL165 .045 - .105 strings and the rest is usual Jazz bass. The bass weighs 4.4 kg or 9.7 lb`s which is usual for HB Jazz basses and lighter than the ones with the maple necks which are usually around 5 kg. The bass sounds great and not just for the price. Collection or local meet up.
  9. Bought this in the great G4M blow out at the back end of last year. I have used it in the studio a couple of times but for gigging I have an Ashdown so this isn`t going to be used. Really good condition, plenty of info and love on here for these. Looking for £170 posted UK mainland only or if you can collect/ meet up local to Paisley, I will knock off the postage. Ta
  10. @doc40hz was looking for one of these. Oops, it was a 2025 but you never know..
  11. There`s a BB 714 BS in Bass bros for £549. Just sayin...
  12. Yeah, it would do the job fine. I stick a Sans Amp into it and the built in Firphase system takes care of everything else, there is only a line/mic setting, a boost/flat option and a volume control. To be honest it`s only problem is it`s a bit ugly imo. I prefer the looks of the Yamaha DR but that`s just me being picky. I bought the RCF as they get a decent write up and are a cheaper alternative to the QSC`s.
  13. I use an RCF 715 mark 4. I have used it for monitoring on a large stage and use it in small pub gigs as my main bass amp. On these pub gigs, it keeps up with 2 Marshalls and a loud drummer. Great bit of quality kit.
  14. I used Pirate studio in Glasgow once. Never again. It`s just a place to go with your mate`s, get stoned out of yer brain and crank up some tunes. Or maybe that`s just Glasgow!
  15. Having seen various photo`s of you Jack, I just think your a bit jealous of the hair!
  16. I like number 3, no singer = exc idea, no gigs = no hassle
  17. Sold Chris a pedal. No probs at all and would happily recommend. Thanks Gerry
  18. I wonder if the seller knew what it was and was just chancing his luck in GG as they usually ask how much they want for it. Or was he ripped off himself and sold it not knowing it was a fake? I`m still surprised that they were taken in with such an obvious fake as someone who had the job of checking the instrument over must have checked things out. I imagine they have the sellers details as they usually pay the money into your account.
  19. It looked like one of those HB models with the twin humbuckers. Most of us on here would have clocked it right away as it had one of those bridges that are fitted to the Sub models, then the tuners, 4 bolt neck... In fact it was the double of one of these Ali Exp jobs https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004141576856.html?pdp_npi=2%40dis!GBP!£215.31!£204.03!!!!!%400b0a23a516782901676964577e4d46!12000028169331973!btf&_t=pvid:dae3a7c3-d676-4a54-a5f0-756e666c19df&afTraceInfo=1005004141576856__pc__pcBridgePPC__xxxxxx__1678290167&spm=a2g0o.ppclist.product.mainProduct
  20. No longer available. As someone gets the
  21. Anyone else see this? A MM Stingray 5 on GG for £1599? Don`t think so. https://www.guitarguitar.co.uk/product/pxp230124399276024--music-man-stingray-5-hh-sunburst-pre-owned
  22. I bought this from one of the great members of the forum for a friend. He is a old Trace guy but was looking for something light as the TE was getting too heavy. He tried it out but now that he is going to be giving up playing live soon, he is gonna keep the TE and I am now left holding the baby so to speak. And the last thing I need is another bass cab! It`s in good condition, just a few chips on the front edge, nothing serious and the strap is a bit worn but works fine. It has a 12 inch woofer for the lows and a 6.5 inch mid range speaker for the highs with some fancy crossover. It will run happily at 450 watts cab at 8 ohms but weighs just 16kg. Here is a copy of the BF spec sheet. It was the predecessor of the Big Baby 2. https://barefacedbass.com/product-range/big-baby.htm I`m looking to sell for £300 or will swap for a 4 string bass, not really sure what I`m looking for, maybe a Yamaha BB . Collection/meet up only please as I`m not too keen on shipping cabs.
  23. It is a crazy price but these types of cab just don`t seem to be in demand just now. A holiday in Jockland would do you a power of good!
  24. 4 knobs from a US Musicman Sterling, good condition. When you just have to have the original things! £25 posted UK mainland, paypal f&f or bank transfer.
