  1. Sorry about about, fixed now
  2. Nice, in "Something that isn't tort" !
  3. I am not sure there is no. And a Les Paul with P90 pickups looks pretty good, but they are the same size as the humbuckers.
  4. What kind of craziness is that? Taken to extremes that means we only really need one bass
  5. Cant you just get undrilled necks?
  6. Which is the same as here no? No, I mean that an argument about his post would be different because people would be attacking a member of their forum
  7. Great price for one of those!
  8. I am not surprised, but also it is a bit different there as he is a member of TalkBass
  9. Yeh, well you expect the sound to mellow when your tattoos fade. Luckily I have some tattoos done by Dan Gold with his own ink at the time on my chest which are almost as bright as 10 years ago when they were done, so it keeps a nice bright top end!
  10. You cant update the price in the add, it is customary to change the title to something like: Spector Euro Bolt 4 - Blue Metallic - absolutely immaculate - Price drop £950
  11. Although I am not in the market for one of these as I need to be reducing numbers, not increasing. It is a bit of a shame that the P pickup white bass has to be lumbered with a tort pickguard when the JJ one gets a nice white one. I suppose it isn't much in the scheme of things to get another one but still!
  12. If you don't use pedals, then I can't see any reason why you would buy a B6 over a stomp. Although if you don't use pedals, I don't get why you would get a stomp either - why not just get a DI box or something like the TC Spectacomp, where you can just have a toneprint and a DI out?
  13. Certainly, My bass playing is much more harsh since I got my tattoos, and the more red they are, they harsher they sound!
  14. That particular bass is on eBay at the moment, and it does look a pretty clean example. There was one in Mansons last year for about 1k, but I see they are all seemingly up for quite a lot more now
  15. The bass seems pretty well balanced in the mix. I like the instrumentation at the start, and as you say, the sound of the bass and the atmosphere - a bit repetitive, but I think that is the point to build up. I really liked it until the singing, at which point I was out, but sounds like a good bass line to learn.
  16. Yes, its a fender performer bass, made in japan. Not many of them around as it wasn't popular, but it was the 80s so they were trying to go for something pointy. One of those basses that is hard to find but not many people are looking. I think they are nice, enjoyed playing one at the last bass bash, even if the volume is pretty temperamental. So why do you think it is fake? I can't see it would be worth faking them, they are not really worth enough to put the effort in compare to say an old jazz or something.
  17. I had that single, bought new. But I was a child it wasn't my fault. My dad had the 70s to St George and the Dragonet and little blue riding hood. Only the colour was changed to prevent an investigation!
  18. Gear4Music did one, the redsub coliseum 6
  19. Really isn't - that is the best version of Easy (and one of the few on here that does beat the original. Sound of silence on the other hand is an abomination, and I like disturbed.
  20. Ah no, that was my confusion, I thought you had already commented on that thread, but you commented on another thread that I had open! But yes, impressive to get all the pickup options in all the finishes in both 4 and 5 strings, others could take note.
  21. That is what we were discussing on that other thread. Available as JJ or JP
  22. Its our drummer who sets his lights up, and he doesn't seem to mind
  23. Just have 2 LED lights that are bolted to the PA. It isn't much but it is enough to be something. And also obviously you have to have a light up drum kit don't you?
  24. Its not common for that to happen though, and for balance, the only tuner that I have had go is a Grover tuner from a Shuker, and that certainly wasn't a cut corner, it was just a manufactured defect.
  25. I suspect that is aria, that is the traditional Aria shape that goes back to the 80s.
