  2. Hi, thank you so much. This was given to my band's singer for his 19th birthday, some 25 years ago, barely played by him as he's a guitarist/singer, and just happened to mention it to me last week. After a couple of hours cleaning and setting up it now looks and plays great. Eventhough the truss rod is frozen in time, the neck relief is spot on and once the string height was reduced from 9/64ths!!!! to 5/64ths, all is good. He hadnt a clue what he had and I wasnt sure on all the facts so this reply is a great help. Thank you.
  3. I believe these are rather like hens teeth. Mid 70s Japanese in gigged but good order - fully working. Original hard case . Anyone willing to PM me with further info please?
  4. Hi, I have the silver faced ABM 3. Does your ABM 4 have the smooth pots for input and volume control or the notched type? Cheers.
  5. 5/64ths at the 17th fret. 12 thou neck relief at 7th fret, capo on 1st fret, hold down last fret.

  8. Anyone have any information regarding the colour options there would have been for a Squier 1982 JV1 Precision with a rosewood neck please and what colour scratch plate would have been fitted to each? Thank you.
  9. Wilkinson in for the stock pickup on mine. DR Sunbeams fitted and it sounds a treat. Easily gigable on occasion through Tech21 VT500 and 2 matching 112s.
  10. Pluck the strings, either with the corner near the nail or near the joint. Occasionally use a pick for string striking for some songs, otherwise mostly my thumb.
  11. No botches. Light reflected from flourescent tube.
  12. Six colour options now - any advance on 6?
  13. It's a P bass body - give it a P bass profile and nut-width neck.
