  1. Nope. The guy talk out of his rear. No deal.
  2. +1 to the pitchfork. Very interesting pedal. Tracks almost perfectly. You can get some odd sounds out of it. Bring on the organ grinder
  3. Recently picked up a digitech trio. That’s super fun with guitar. The bass it generates is tasteful and addictive. I really like it. Forced me to play lead guitar. Very fun. I kinda wish there was one aimed at bassist where you play it a bass line and it does the chords or rhythm for you. Then you can mix up the bass all you like. Expanding on making the most creative bassline for that phrase.
  4. The nux series are good value for money. They are copycat clones. In terms of build quality they are solid. Nothing really plastic. Behringer are the only budget brand that has plastic enclosure. All other ones are generally metal based. Metal is good. Metal is solid. Metal bleeds.
  5. The man who sold the world. Now that is a track which has been covered to death.
  6. Interesting. I always wanted a loop player so it basically covers the synth player in our two piece. I got the digitech trio that I quite like jamming with. I mean I could just play guitar and have the trio do the bass. It not as fun as bass though. 🙂
  7. Girls on film. That tight staccato playing gets me groovy every time.
  8. Improvise. You should be good at that. Cut some sponge up and slot that over the pedal knobs. Use an elastic band see if that holds the knobs in place. Classic but not obsolete yet : stick a sock on it. Put some clothes on it put all your clothes on it Just keep one sock for er.. luck
  9. 10kg, roughly 40x120x 20cm deep. Standard courier would be anything between £7-£20. Dont know about insurance. Never bothered with it.
  10. Sounds stupid but a small suitcase. The ones that can fit in hand luggage. Has wheels and the foldy out extendible handle thing.
  11. I use a app on music iPhone. Chordbot. It’s free but the paid version lets you save tunes you’ve written. Quite nice.
  12. Unless the original recording sounds like a toilet then I don’t see any real benefit or gain from digital remasters. Maybe in the near future we as consumers can purchase the individual stems and make our own custom user mix. That would be great. Opening up doors like mashups or complete overhauls of tracks. It probably already happens now but I’m not familiar with it being a commercial “thing”
  13. If you haven’t made it by your 20s then likely it will never happen. The music industry is so saturated that even if you do make it. It will only be for 15 minutes.
  14. Yep cheap spray paint will do it. Couple of passes of it. I usually do it to cheapo guitars. Just adds something else to it.
  15. Ambient and field recordings would be my suggest. Maybe a bit arty farty for some but it manages my anger issues .... sends me to happy place.
  16. I like that lightning seeds song. It’s got a nice chord progression in the verse. The chorus is fine too. Quite fun on the bass
  17. I’m eyeballing that headrush. I just can’t bring myself to do it. I want air conditioning
  18. Ooooh bump. I’m depressed and I have money. This is a bad sub forum for me.
  19. I like drums but When I play them I feel like I’m not quite fully able to reprezent. As opposed to guitar or bass. Or even synth! I prefer the melody
  20. Bass people are nice people. Nice club. Nice.
