7. 3 grand for something that probably sounds and plays as good as something i could get for £500 or so? No ta!
8. mmm yeah, i love the bridges from that period too...
9. I agree, i wouldn't hesitate to buy before i try with musicman, it's only been good experiences for me, though the chance would be nice!!!
10.
Thank god you put two full stops at the end of your sentence, otherwise I wouldn't have detected the sarcasm.
Three actually.
11. £730 is a decent deal, probably what i'd expect it to go for in good condition
12. What on earth?
13. I'm glad you decided to type it all in capitals, otherwise i'd have had no idea what it was you were selling...
14. I've not really noticed it to be honest with you Although you DO know that the 2 band models don't have centre detents because the preamp is boost only, right? I can't imagine that a 3 band model would have 'accidentally' been given pots without centre detents.
15.
eBay provides more comedy gold then an episode of aunties bloomers.
Well, it's not difficult is it?
16. beatuful bass mate, if i had the cash for it i'd snap your arm off for it, good luck with the sale anyways And it looks like honey burst to me, lovely colour
17.
I'm not sure we should rush JPJ - he may be quite careless with tools - I noticed from the first pic that he only has 4 toes on each foot.
18. having not tried many ibanezs, i'd have to go for an SR900, like the trans black one deaver had
19. nice collection, i have to say i approve of the non-fenders, i would have gotten incredibly bored with just fenders and fende copies. Lovely G&L.
20. looks nice, probably not worth a grand though...
21. christ, my mate bought one of them for about £50!
22.
that one looks more like lava pearl than DG.
Yeah, i think you're right. they both look quite similar to me unless they're right next to each other, i want a desert gold
23.
I'm still undecided I thought I didnt like the SR5 body shape until this arrived and now I can see how it sort of works, but it keeps reminding me of a Gibson Grabber so I'll probably go with an SR4 shape. It should also be easier to do either a slab top or drop top on the SR4 body shape with the faux binding.
Oooh here's an idea! You ever seen a 20th SR5? DO THAT!
24.
it's Egyptian Smoke, not Desert Gold, and I'd prefer cash.
Nooo, the single H one in the first pic! D'oh!
25. nice, sounds like it's going to be really nice You still going for the SR5 body shape?
