11. For sale my Zoom 708ii this too is a great unit for more info check out the Description and Specs here It's more than an a multi effect unit, specs include 69 different effects, built in expression pedal, chromatic tuner and drum machine with 60 different drum patterns built in. Also has a headphone socket, very useful when you haven't got an amp that you can use. The unit is in very good condition see the attached pics. This too has never been used outside of my bedroom. It will come boxed with the user manual, what you see is what you get in the pics. £40inc P&P This unit would be great for a newbie for getting the taste of what multi effects are like, and to show the vast array of different sounds you can produce from a small compact unit. So grab yourself a bargain!! I am also open to offers of trades for anything bass related to an equivalent value, whether it be single effect pedals, strings, other gear etc, etc. Let me know what you have for trade and we can go from there!! Here's a few pics of the unit: I am selling/trading this because I no longer use it, so it is just sitting in it's box feeling lonely and neglected, and it needs to be in the hands or should be foot of somebody who will use it, because it's just not getting used. THANKS FOR LOOKING
 12. I am the same, I've been "learning" very slowly for around 8 or 9 months and I was totally blinkered and I listened to mainly rock, metal, prog etc. and nothing else. But since taking up bass I've started to listen to Jaco, Marcus Miller one of my hero's now, Wooten, some jazz, pop. Anything that has a good groove to it really I think it opens your ears to different styles, it expands your horizons and will hopefully make you a better player....not that it's having that effect on my playing but at least I listening to some good music

 15.
Hi Matt, here's a link to a US shop that's got a few of the $$ in different colour oils to give you an idea. http://www.rocketmusic.net/cgi-bin/commerc...mp;keywords=all
I've got my $$ 5'er coming hopefully later in the week that I bought from Jake Ten Floors one of our fellow BC'ers, which is Nirvana Black. But I do like the Red and for some strange reason the green looks pretty sweet too, but I do like loud colours
 16.
Yeah, I was in awe when it showed up! I am definitely in 2 minds about letting the Warmoth go, so don't know if I will do so unless someone offers something exciting in a trade!
+1 on the neck...tis luverly. And you're right don't sell it that would be a defo keeper for me even if it wasn't played as much as you would like to. I'd keep her just for that neck, I think you regret it in the long run!

 20.
Due to a change in circumstances ( due 2nd February ) i have decided to abandon putting a new band together so my electric kit is up for sale. Now i realize i can't leave music alone so have decided to move to EUB, it's something i have always wanted to do and will finally give me the much needed push to learn my theory and sight reading. The choices seem to be the Palatino VE-500 or the Stagg offering, initially the Palatino appeals more nd seems to get great reviews especially with a few mods. Any recommendations either way or otherwise?
There's a Palatino on EBay which seems reasonable price and they are open to offers so you might even get it a bit cheaper Palatino on EBay
 21.

That'a Bongo Bass... note base, (bass)... Glad to hear you're keeping it after all, and my offer still stands if you've still got it in a few years time I'll have it off you mate "Well I got a fair few offers this weekend but still, im keeping it now I think. I lowerd the pickup and its enjoyable now, and the worst thing about it is.... I recorded it next to the stringray and it sounds better. Did I just say that?" I'll agree with this bit cos I've heard the recording and the Bongo wipes the floor with the Ray...sorry and all that but it does!!
 22.
MB1. DIGITECH BNX3....Benwhiteuk is selling one on the forum at the moment check it out! one of the best all in pedalboards on the market at the moment!(check the reviews on Harmony Central).
+1 on the BNX3 but I have found it does take a while to get used to setting it up and can be a bit of a palava. But well worth persevering with it to obtain a great range of sounds.
