1. If there's the option, I'd go; white, matching headstock, maple fretboard, black hardware...mmmmmmm But then I may just have to force you to sell it to me
2. I no longer have any idea where this thread is going... Funky grooves though!
3.
Shazam is saying it's called "Bold as Ass" by Marco Vitali, Regan Ryzuk, Brian Delaney, Gary Foote. More info here: http://www.ascap.com...s_pp=10&start=1 I'm guessing it's a bit of copyrighted filler music... BB
Cool! Shame we can't hear it to be certain though!
4.
It's called 'Drag Racer' originally recorded by the Doug Wood Band.
Hey, thanks for the suggestion, but that's the main theme. I'm trying to work out a different song
5. Hi guys, Happened to be watching the snooker the other day...and heard an awesome funky riff! (I know! Funk and snooker!) Anyway, I just can't work out what it is (have tried Soundhound and Shazam on my phone but to no avail) Its at around 1hr, 30 mins into this iplayer vid (after Hazel stops talking!): http://www.bbc.co.uk...2_Day_8_Part_2/ Any suggestions welcome! Thanks, Matt
6. Ahhhhh that's better... If only it was that way round - I have a mint streamer for trade an' all!
7. Wow, she looks stunning . Wish I had the moolah!
8. Wow, stunning looking bass. Been watching it for a while and would love to own it - just a little bit rich for me!
9.
But this Ray is new. There are probably some sold as new which have been played more in the shop. It's only my opinion but to expect to pay half of the new price on a bass like this is disgusting.
Yeah, it is a real shame, and I know where you're coming from. But I only said I thought £900 was a 'tiny little bit' too high. I've seen some absolute immaculate examples on here go for £800-850 - regardless of how old they are.
10.
Nice. Post a picture when you've bought it.
Lol, liking the 'When'
11. 'tis a white one - haven't seen many around!
12. Thanks for your input guys, really appreciated. Its a stock model, nothing particularly out of the ordinary (except for being in the exact colour I've been looking for !) and comes with all the original MM case/case candy etc. Think I will go and have a look and offer him what I think its worth!
13.
Prov sold.....
Wow, in 10 mins?! Awesome!
14. Hey guys, Have finally tracked down a rather beautiful 2011 Stingray 4 in completely mint condition and only played one or two times. Unfortunately my knowledge of modern 'Rays is a bit lax, however I have heard that some may have issues (read somewhere about neck pocket gaps???)... Could someone much wiser than me let me know of any problems I should be looking out for? Also, the guy wants £900 firm, which seems a tiny little bit on the steep side to me (in the current market) - although I recognise that he just wants his money back. Do you guys reckon that's a fair price? Cheers all, Matt
15.
+1 great bass design. I want the White/Maple 5er.
Same here, but a 4 banger. Been wanting an all white DJ4 for a while... Wonder if they've fixed the QC issues (string to p'up alignment) that seemed a problem with the older ones?
