1. Anybody got ANYTHING they want to trade for this??
 2.
The Behringer does appear to be coming out as a favourite but I've just got niggly doubts about reliability! Any issues with yours?
Touch wood no none so far mate, it's hooked up to my Ashdown and I use it most days and so far it's been realiable
 3. I've got a Behringer UB802 that's pretty good. I use it when my tutor comes to my place so that he can plug his gear into my amp save him having to lug his around. It does the job, you can plug up 6 bits of kit in, it has it's own effects loop that is individually controllable, all in all it's a nice bit of kit. There are a few Behringer mixers on EBay that are reasonaly priced too. I hope this helps you out mate?
 4. Bump for an EBay comparison!! Check out the EBay link I've added, then buy mine!!!
 5.
Instrument cables are shielded - the "ground" wire runs around the outside of the "signal" wire with insulation between them. Speaker cables have two thick parallel conductors and are not shielded. Using speaker cable as instrument cable -> noise due to lack of shielding Using instrument cable as speaker cable -> possibility of conductors melting together and causing a short. S.P.
Thanks for making that clear
 6.
Never use instrument cables to connect your head to your cab.
Why is this? I'm probably showing my ignorance here, but what's the difference between an instrument cable and a amp cable??
 7. Yeah which one??? Having got my Corvette $$ 2nd from Jake Ten Floors, all I can say is it's probably my best investment yet. I've just fallen for her in a big way  One thing that is puzzling me is I've heard so much talk about how heavy Warwicks are and how the necks are really fat/thick!? Compared to RKS my $$ is quite light and the neck is about the same thickness as the RKS. So are Corvettes a bit different to the other Warwicks in that respect or is it just me?? Congrats on your purchase I'm sure you will have many happy hours together

 9.
I learned 2 songs using chords in bass: The first is a version of tears in heaven made by Jeff Berlin: http://es.youtube.com/watch?v=hGFHsNyPHrY The second is a song of Dominique Di Piazza from the disc "Que alegria" John Mclaughlin: http://es.youtube.com/watch?v=2F3khoTDgpA
Very tasteful, I'm loving your tone too, great stuff. I can only aspire to play like that, I'm still trying to get my head around doing simple scale patterns let alone anything as complex as those examples So congratulations from me, a lowly beginner
 10.
Ahh, the magic of youtube! Digging the vids! Actually, this is me on guitar, the bass ones have never been put on youtube No idea how to embed the clip, tried the other day with one, failed miserably! For RUSH fans only, I suppose. http://youtube.com/watch?v=MxqIVtHPCgA
Love it, brief to the point and you nailed it!! Cool clip mate!!

 12.
Hello everyone I need to buy a padded soft gig bag for some forthcoming gigs, and am going to buy one in London on Saturday. (I would use eBay but need it asap.) Something like this with pockets for pedals etc. would be good. Can anyone recommend a shop in town? Thanks Doug
Hi Doug You can try this guy on EBay I've bought a GX/15B as has Mr Sibs a fellow BC'er from him, and they are superb bits of kit. 20.
Wow Robin, thats a huge amount of info Easily the most understandable, comprehensive lowdown of all the basses I've seen ! Thank you soooo much! ! I think if I was to buy secondhand it would have to be a Corvette FNA Jazzman, they look beautiful but I'll keep my eye out for any $$ neckthrough's as I know they're rather popular! One quick question to anyone: If you were in my position (with the current state of the economy etc) would you buy a new $$ for around £700 ish, or wait (possibly a long time) for something incredible (i.e, SSI or FNA Jazzman) to turn up secondhand for the same mooolah? Just a hypothetical quesssie ! Hope youre all ok Thankyou all for your posts so far! Keep em coming! Looks like my search is going to go on a bit longer... Matt
I would say if you're in no hurry then I would hang fire and wait for a while, you never know what might crop up whether it be on here or Evilbay. I got my $$ and she is gorge.
