It doesn't seem right not having something to read, does it?? That aside this is a great online mag and would be well worth subscribing too if it were in print, some great features and articles.
2.
Got any clips of sounds? I may be interested as im collecting pedals daily!!!
Dude you don't want to hear me playing I'm just learning and not that good Plus I haven't got anyway that I can record myself, sorry! But if you have a look on YouTube there are loads of sound clips to be found. I hope this helps?
3.
ahpook buy it back!!!!!!
I gave him first option to buy it now that it's been fixed but he's bought some other gear So it's now up for grabs again!!
4. No need to really describe this as I think most people will be aware of how powerful and versatile this unit is. But for those of you out there that don't know about the unit here are the specs from Zoom's Website This was originally sold to ahpook but he returned back to me because the unit was slightly faulty, one of the parameter knobs had an intermittant fault but it didn't affect the unit's performance it could be a bit a pain trying to change the settings a little. But this has now been fixed by Zoom under it's warranty and to be honest I think it sounds beter than before I sent it back to them!! But it has become surplus to requirements and is now back up for sale The unit has never been gigged and only used in my bedroom. There are a few surface scratches which I tried to show in the pics, nothing major and they in no way affect the units performance. The unit can powered by batteries but it comes with a Zoom AC adaptor. All manuals and a copy of CuBase LE are included in the box. All I'm asking for is £55 inc P&P Thanks for looking

6. I think that this sums up why you should keep a record of your kit's serial numbers!! Iggy Pop and the Stooges had a sh*t load of gear stolen just a couple of days ago whilst touring Canada check this out Iggy Pop Stolen Gear
7.
If it's something that you want to do though..... If you go onto the Zvex site, there is a simple cheap "lo fi" sampler type pedal. I reckon he's done it with those chips you get really cheap that will record an play back a few seconds of audio. You could just try that for now - if you have some electronics experience? (I assumed you did from your post).
Spot on no experience whatsoever I think I might have bitten off my than I can chew with this thought!!
8.
I think a high quality digital delay/sampler would be cheaper to buy ready made.
That's what I was thinking too mate!!
9. How do you start to make your own effects pedals, are there any good websites that can teach you? I wouldn't mind having a bash at making a loop pedal like an Akai Headrush, Boss DD20 etc. Any ideas where I can find any info, diagrams equpment needed etc, etc?? Roughly how much would something like cost to make? Thanks for any help
10. My tutor keeps saying to me "if you can sing it, you should be able to play it"....he hasn't hear me sing Thanks for all the suggestions something for to work on here!!
11. Thanks guys, some cool stuff to work on there I like the spider exercises good for dexterity something I've got a problem with I got fingers like a pound of pork sausages What about rhythm exercises any good ones out there? One thing I've been doing with my tutor lately is dong scale patterns up the neck in different modes. Now he wants me to improvise this by playing a pattern for say 4 bars then moving onto the next pattern. But I'm a bit stumped when it comes to the rhythm and timings! Anybody got any words of wisdom on this one?
12. I'm a newbie to bass and I'm looking for inspiration. I was wondering if anybody has a good practice regime that they have, and are willing to share? How long do you practice for, what do you do in your practice time, eg. scales, arpeggios, rhythm training, ear training that kind of thing, and how long do you spend on each discipline? Like I said I'm looking for some tips and inspiration for a practice timetable that I can knock up for myself, so thanks for any help.
13. Still and available and I'm still open to offers, anybody????
