    Slightly disagree, average guitarists are 10 a penny if that’s all you require, excellent guitarists are harder to find because they are always working in bands.

    Funny that, our guitarist was discussing this clip with me a few weeks ago, he was also surprised that Rory couldn’t manage the riff and just did his own thing.

    My sister also went to see The Sweet in concert in the 70’s and hated it, she thought they would be playing stuff like their chart records, they were in fact playing playing really heavy rock songs 😀

    Never rated any of the guitarists with RHCP, in particular the lead solo work, always came over as disjointed and not melodic, a bit like somebody just learning and not quite getting the string bends right 👎
