Early/Mid 1970's - Mud (Glam Rock stalwarts) were booked to play at a public venue in Colchester. Late that afternoon, the promoter got a message that their van had died so he was fearing the worst. To their credit, Mud turned up on time and their van arrived a couple of hours later on the back of a recovery truck. They got set up in double-quick time, started exactly on time and played a really good set.

Two basses every time. My primary bass is either a Fender P or a Rickenbacker 4003, secondary bass is always another Fender P. I also carry a MarkBass Nano amp as a spare - used once so far, by guitarist when his AC30 had a (very expensive) senior moment.

Agree 100% - the best televised live concert i have seen for a while. Great rapport between a very good band and an enthusiastic audience.

My given name is Chris. Way back in February 1981 I started a new job, and there were already 4 people called Chris in the team of 12. Nick-names were already used to identify the other 4 individual Chris' so I was immediately re-named 'Chezz' (derived from my family name) - the name has been with me ever since. I added the 55 'I thought it sounded good.
