    Peavey XR600E Powered PA mixer amp for sale. I believe it is 300 watts from 2 150 watt power amps. I've never used it in anger but I've checked all the channels and it all seems to work as it should. I paid £70 for it but will sell it on here for £50 as I need the space. Pics to follow. Happy to post which I guess would be about £15 as it is heavy or collection from Bristol.

    Dr J DI / Preamp with over drive pedal for sale. £20.colected from Bristol or postage would be £5. Very good condition and still boxed.     You ought to get hold of one fairly easily. They turnup on here/Gumtree/fleabay etc reasonably often. There's a humbucker one on flea Bay at the moment with a bin of £299. Mine sold recently for £170 so it feels a little steep but mine was the jazz version the ebay one looks in better condition.

    Slightly out of date now, but a bit of press for the relay in my works paper from when I had the bass back in October has just been published. A brief article but should go round a couple of thousand people and there ought to be a few more bass players across the sites. I'll try and post a copy when I can.

    If only you'd posted that a month ago you could have bought mine! They sound great really powerful pickups and preamp and load of tonal options. I just couldn't get on with how narrow the neck was and the lack of head confusing me with what fret I was on (that may be me being thick though). You can pick them up for pretty decent prices (under £200) and it would trounce a lot of other basses in that price band.

    Am I using the right etiquette in the market place? I usually put "sold pending" when I've agreed a sale and then include "sold" in the title when I've received payment to get the thread locked. A couple of times I've had the thread locked when I've only put pending, at which point the sale could still not happen and would need another bump. Is this correct? Cheers

[/quote] I saw it in Cardiff last night good show and all the musicians were great (especially the drummer) but I agree with you about the lack of bass in the mix. I was trying to listen carefully to the legend that is herbie but stuggled to hear him except when it was just him playing.
