1. Brilliant sounding great value cabs. Have a bump.
2. Nice, that won't be around for long at that price. Too many tempting things here at the moment. I may be in touch if my Hohner Jack shifts before this does. Out of interest which bit of Bristol are you in? GLWTS
3. Haloween style things that go BUMP in the night and the headless bassman!
4. Who's next then someone wilts dorset somerset way would be perfect.
5.
I've got a BB1100S, which I picked up secondhand for £150 from eBay - a few years ago now. The neck is the nicest thing about it, a bit thinner than a Jazz I think, and very easy to play. I've changed all the parts on it, the most important upgrade being a set of Hipshot lightweight tuners, which fixed the head droop nicely and brought the weight down a fair bit. I've tried more expensive basses, some a lot more expensive, but don't think I've played anything I like better. It does a great Precision sound. The only thing I haven't swapped out is the preamp which, as far as I can tell, is perfectly transparent. The three-band eq is great for on-stage tweaking, and I rarely have to touch the amp during a gig. I used to have a very early JV Precision as well, which is not probably worth around a grand now, but I sold it and kept the Yammy.
completly agree only that mine is still original. Best value basses out there.
6. Glad you had a good bash and sorry I couldnt make it. Also sorry to hijak the thread but would anyone who went to this be interested in having the bass relay bass next. I'm trying to get it from me in Bristol to either Devon or Weymouth and you all seem in the right part of the world to help it on its way. PM me if you are interested. Cheers Steve

8. You could buy my hohner jack in the for sale section. I think its a 32 inch scale and headless makes it feel smaller.
9. You can always have one more bass and its only little and doesnt take much room! (Thats the argument I'm trying to talk myself out of for keeping it!)
10. Very tempting. I'm looking for a cheap back up if my hohner jack sells. What are the necks like on these? The fender jags I've played were quite chunky?
11. Price drop bump to £200 plus £10 to the bass relay. Got my eye on a couple of things and could do with selling this.
12. More photos of the night at: https://www.dropbox.com/sc/lo7wlcxnubeqvtu/AAAE8-ZjZxPQiI0E_RC65lvZa Some with the baton and some with my trusty old yamaha bb1100s and all with the pubs crazy spotty lights!
13. And the prize for worst hand over photo goes to. ..... i blame our drummer for taking the pic we're both far more handsome in the flesh!
14. Great to meet you. We really enjoyed it too. Thanks once again. Steve

20. Or towards skidder652003 in devon.
21. We'll see what we can do. Cheers for the offer.
