1. I always had a soft spot for them and the b2s back in the early 90s. I needed a cheap back up bass and saw this. It needs a bit of love and came with no strings which I'm just waiting on strings direct to deliver. Once I've got it working ill stick ip some pics.
2. Great thanks for your help. Much appreciated.
3. I picked up a Hohner Jack yesterday which needs a bit of tlc. Im waiting for some strings before I can try it properly but when I put a new battery in for the active circuit there is a rectangular metal box next to where the battery goes. It has a plastic crosshead screw in it and I've not seen in a bass before. It may be a stupid question but does any one know what it is/does? Thanks

5. Stopped for about 18 years. Played loads (all be it not that great) in my teens. Couldnt find a band at uni and just stopped playing and got into other stuff. Id sold everything except my old yamaha bb1100s and was on the verge of selling that 3 years ago when I started playing it again and really enjoyed it. Now enjoying my band gigging fairly often and am a better player than I ever was in my youth (although still rough round the edges).
6. I know its voted for but on what planet is livin on a prayer a better riff than teen spirit? I had to turn it off on principle.
7. Ive not played there but ive heard the fire engine in st george is also a regular pub for gigs.
8. I love mine. Have a bump on me. There isn't a better bass for the money and should cost 2 or 3 times as much. Lovely neck and great range of sounds. Glwts
9. Sold a boss eq pedal to dave. Quick payment great comms. Top bloke happily trade with him again. Top bloke enjoy the pedal. Cheers
10. Thanks very much for the offer. I may have got it sorted but pm on the way. Much appreciated.
11. I think bristol is blessed with some good shops. I always find the guys in pmt and micelburgh (? Spelling) friendly and helpful and let you try stuff without being pushy. Rikaxxe can either be helpful or a bit wierd though ive had some odd conversations in there. Heron and treblerock and emis are good the interesting 2nd hand stuff and electric ladyland is probanly the most unique shop in the country. Plenty of choice and mostly good service.
12. I know what we need and yes it is only a relativly small venue so a small pa with monitors is what we need. The question was does anyone know a good value place to hire one in the bath trowbridge area. The venue we are playing said they had o e but it is only a tiny kareoke one so we need to hire one. I look into crest. Thanks
13. Does any one know of a good value pa hire in the bath,b-o-a, Trowbridge area. Only a small social club gig, we have mics but would like monitors. Cheers
14. 1970s Gibson Grabber G3 Bass guitar for Sale. I told it is a 1974/75 but I'm not 100% sure of the year I just know it is pre 1978 due to the serial number, pickups and tuning pegs. All original as far as I know but missing the bridge cover. I'm not sure I should be selling this as it sounds great and looks really cool but I've owned it for about 6 months after buying it on a whim and haven't clicked with the feel of it and I could do with some money. £700 ono I have set up the bass with new D'addario strings (45 -105) adjusted the truss rod (works fine) and set the action and intonation and it plays really nicely now. I would much prefer collection from Bristol as I only have a padded gigbag for it, but I will post at cost and buyers risk and the bass will be bubble wrapped inside the gig bag and put in a secure box and sent insured. Ideally I'd like a straight sale but I would consider trades for certain 4 string fretted basses like: a Tobias Growler or Toby Pro, MTD Heir or Artist, possibly a Musicman Stingray, Sterling, or USA Sub Ray or possibly G&L Tribute L2000, straight trade or with cash my way depending on what you have. I'm not interested in any Fenders thanks Photos at: https://www.dropbox....piyf/NXLgbenS28 Any questions, please let me know.
15. Yes.good solid bass at a good price. Youd struggle to find anything much better for the money assuming its in good condition and if you dont like it you sjould be able to sell it on for similar money. I hope you enjoy it.
16. Knock a fiver off for easter and treat yourself to an egg type bump
