1. The next leg of the bass relay is now confirmed. I will be taking the baton from Bristol to the Heart of Oak in Exeter on Saturday 15th November where Skidder652003, aka Steve from The Jefferson Archive, will be the next to use the bass. Be good to see some other BCers there. I am also trying to get the bass to my drummers other band, The Sleepwalkers, gig at the Buttercross Inn Chippenham on Thursday, to raise a few more ££££££s. Tom Skool in Weymouth or Callum Williams in Liverpool have also put their names forward to have the bass so it looks like the relay is alive and well for now.
2. On hold
3. Thanks. It's a decent bass for not much money.

8. Theres a whole lotta bumping going on. Come on you know you want this. Great bass for the money headless isn't for me though.
9. Final price drop bump £180 plus postage. Or may trade for pa gear for a 4 price band suitable for pubs / smaller venues.
10. Thanks. It is very light compact with very powerful pickups.
11. Make me an offer type bump. Perfect for the low cost Mark King or John Rhino Edwards tributes who need a great affordable headless bass.
12. Popped into Heron Music in Bristol today and they had one which looked in good condition for £350,
13. The Ox on Live at Leads just sounds massive and I'd love to sound like that.
14. Cool bass. Loved the look of them in the 90s but looks even better now. Enjoy.
15. Brilliant sounding great value cabs. Have a bump.
16. Nice, that won't be around for long at that price. Too many tempting things here at the moment. I may be in touch if my Hohner Jack shifts before this does. Out of interest which bit of Bristol are you in? GLWTS
17. Haloween style things that go BUMP in the night and the headless bassman!
18. Who's next then someone wilts dorset somerset way would be perfect.
19.
I've got a BB1100S, which I picked up secondhand for £150 from eBay - a few years ago now. The neck is the nicest thing about it, a bit thinner than a Jazz I think, and very easy to play. I've changed all the parts on it, the most important upgrade being a set of Hipshot lightweight tuners, which fixed the head droop nicely and brought the weight down a fair bit. I've tried more expensive basses, some a lot more expensive, but don't think I've played anything I like better. It does a great Precision sound. The only thing I haven't swapped out is the preamp which, as far as I can tell, is perfectly transparent. The three-band eq is great for on-stage tweaking, and I rarely have to touch the amp during a gig. I used to have a very early JV Precision as well, which is not probably worth around a grand now, but I sold it and kept the Yammy.
completly agree only that mine is still original. Best value basses out there.
20. Glad you had a good bash and sorry I couldnt make it. Also sorry to hijak the thread but would anyone who went to this be interested in having the bass relay bass next. I'm trying to get it from me in Bristol to either Devon or Weymouth and you all seem in the right part of the world to help it on its way. PM me if you are interested. Cheers Steve

22. You could buy my hohner jack in the for sale section. I think its a 32 inch scale and headless makes it feel smaller.
23. You can always have one more bass and its only little and doesnt take much room! (Thats the argument I'm trying to talk myself out of for keeping it!)
