Maybe 'NBD' should stand for 'new biscuits day' -

Well, I took the risk of going out for forty minutes and I now have a small supply of choccy biccies. I have been reliably informed that no monkey-sh!t-brown vans were seen in the area whilst I was gone, and the tracking page still says the same as before - my package is scheduled for delivery today but it doesn't say that it is actually on a vehicle for delivery. -
I quite like the look of them not really - they are hideous

I’m going to have to go out at some point tomorrow as I’ve run out of chocolate biscuits, so I’m probably only waiting in for the delivery for a fourth day if the tracking updates to specifically say ‘out for delivery.’ I could easily jump in the car & drive to the depot to pick it up if UPS is incapable of providing the service they have been paid to provide, but I can’t get through to a human person on the phone to ask about arranging this and I know it’ll be a wasted journey if I just turn up. -

The tracking page has just updated and now says without any apology that it is scheduled for delivery tomorrow. Do they really expect me to believe it this time? They managed to get it from Germany to the local depot with no problems last week, but I have no idea why they're finding it so difficult to finish the job by managing to take it the final twenty miles. All the time they have it I don't know what temperature/humidity it is stored at, how carefully it has been handled, or whether it has actually gone missing. -

Looks like I've had another day of pointlessly waiting in for a delivery - the tracking says: In Transit Scheduled delivery Monday 17/08/2020 but the shipment progress hasn't updated to "Out for delivery" today - its still on the "In Transit" status which was updated at 6pm on Friday. I messaged the shop this morning with my concerns that the tracking info was vague and contradictory, asking whether they could chase up UPS for info, but only got a reply telling me to let them know if it doesn't come today. I then tried to phone UPS, but after having a robochat and taking the option to speak to an agent I was told that option was not possible. So I've stayed in waiting just in case it comes, although it looks like today isn't going to be the day. Grrrrrrrrrrr! -

Just refreshed the UPS tracking page and there's an update! It now says the delivery is scheduled for Monday 'by end of day' - so any time from 7am until 9pm I suppose. I hope the box will be sitting somewhere safe over the weekend. -

I have pretty much given up on receiving it today. I sent a message to the shop this morning to see if they could get any info from UPS - they said they'll get back to me when they get an answer, but I've heard nothing since then and the tracking page still gives no useful infomation. -

No idea whether its coming today - the tracking doesn't give any useful information and suggests that either: it went back to the depot where it is sitting being ignored it sat on the truck overnight and is out for delivery today it has been lost or nicked I'll have wait in for another day today just in case it does come -

Oh well I suppose tomorrow's another day. The tracking info on the UPS site is woefully inadequate and doesn't inspire confidence. -

It left the local depot at 7pm this morning and since then the tracking page changed to "out for delivery today" and gives an estimated time of delivery as "before 9pm" so its been a long day and I'm hoping it will come within the next 90 mins. -

It is out for delivery, but could be several hours of waiting. It comes with nickel rounds but I have a set of flats waiting to go on it when it arrives -
black or gold hardware although I do have instruments with one or the other which I reluctantly tolerate. I’m not really too keen on chrome either - All of my basses would have nickel plated bits in an ideal world.

Its worth the hassle - it consists of great sounding Ampeg SVT & B15 fliptop amps with associated cabs, mics & fx running in your DAW or standalone for practice.

I'm tracking my parcel - it started in Nottuln yesterday, passed through Dusseldorf overnight, and arrived at Stanford Le Hope this afternoon so it is on track to be delivered to me tomorrow. I will post some details about my new acquisition once it has arrived.

Just seen this offer at https://audioplugin.deals/amplitube-svx-by-ik-multimedia-free-download/ I already own SVX (& SVX 2) but for anyone that doesn't this looks to be a bit of a no-brainer

Fender pre cbs reverse wound bass tuners ?

The corrosion looked unnatural and possible faked to me at first, however that is probably down to being photographed in very bright sunlight making them look more orange than they probably are. Whats the known history of this set? Did you remove them from a vintage Fender or buy them as a vintage set? -
Auditioned for a guitarist and it's too close to call

I like the first guitarist, I also like the second guitarist, But which one's better? There's only one way to find out... FIIIIIGHT! -
I doubt a string retainer would make much difference - the string isn't popping out of the nut. Perhaps the strings are a lighter set so are at a lower tension?

The modern ones I have seen have more threadwinds on the worm gear than these and would have a modern cross-headed bolt. The worm gear suggests that these *could* be genuine pre-CBS ones made by Kluson and the slot headed bolts suggest that they could be an early set as most pre-CBS ones do have cross-headed bolts.
