Yeah! I’d been tracking a load of guitars that week.

I am also a huge fan of Sandberg basses: L-R - VM5 ash/rosewood, VT4 alder/rosewood, classic booster 5 walnut top/mahogany/rosewood, classic special 6 cocobolo top, mahogany/rosewood.

I bought an EHX Mono Synth from Stephen. As above very good comms with prompt replies. The pedal was exactly as described (basically new) with the original box and candy. It was also beautifully packaged - ready to survive any manhandling en route. Highly recommended seller, super smooth purchase. I would not hesitate to buy from Stephen again.

Ok, So you need to find ‘target’ in the assign menu. There you can select the Octave for example and then you can choose the settings you need the assign to alter. The Flanger effect is identical for FX1 and FX2 so I’m not sure quite what’s going on there? Again in the ‘target’ section of the assign you should be able to deal with individual parameters for each effect. Hope that helps.

Sorry, I’m not sure I fully understand? If you assign an effect to CTRL1 it will switch it on and off for ‘the whole patch’ which is what you want isn’t it? You could set each parameter for a given effect to several assigns and they will all change when the CTRL is pressed also? Not sure how upgrading to a different unit would help, particularly if it’s a Boss as that’s how that all work?

You should be able to do this with the Assign function. Set each assign to do a specific job, switch on the assigns and you should be good to go.

Just got one of these and it’s great! Still learning it, but initial experiences have been really positive both as a Preamp in front of my amp or straight into a DAW using the cab sims. Well done Ampeg, although - Yamaha really!

I’d not seen these before. It looks ideal, lifetime guarantee too! Thanks for the heads up.

Sold Ben a Digitech Jamman looper. Simple and straightforward sale. This is actually the 2nd time I’ve sold to him, last time was a bass. Both transactions as smooth as silk. Highly recommend.

Ah, ok I’ll definitely look into that. Thanks 🙏

It seems there is a bit of a gap in the market here. I’d happily pay quite a lot of money for a robust stand that is gigworthy. My kids have scooters that when a bit breaks or falls off you can simply order that part from the website. Guitar stand manufacturers could adopt this model. I’d buy one or three!

I’ve had 4 Hercules stands, 2 of the I still have - none of them still work. first 2 went all sticky on the rubber parts - just what I don’t want when I’m about to play. On both the others the gripping mechanism broke. On one the thing that locks into the upright to set the height broke. I eventually retired them after gaffering them together and bought this: https://reverb.com/uk/p/ultimate-support-gs-1000-genesis-series-pro-guitar-stand?hfid=69461713&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=20304708451&utm_content=campaignid=20304708451_adgroupid=_productpartitionid==merchantid=564211736_productid=69461713_keyword=_device=m_adposition=_matchtype=_creative=&gbraid=0AAAAADRxZYWcfnSQZpc5LRlCjqLQLwPCr&gclid=Cj0KCQjwqNqkBhDlARIsAFaxvwzU999Qw-CJhuGCd13vcehANWkk1gXr1WN_-qdi0IIlasXxN-jIOpMaAq57EALw_wcB This had now had the gripping mechanism break and I need to get a new stand - Hence the post.

I’ve used a multitude of different stands for my bass on gigs over the years. Most recently the Hercules ones which as a design I like. However after say a year of gigging they always fall apart and I end up having to buy another one. My question is: can anyone recommend a sturdy and reliable stand which can take a bit of abuse (probably about 100 gigs a year) without just breaking or do I just need to add it to my expenses as a disposable item like strings?

Just to add to the general praise; I bought an OC-2 from him. It arrived almost as soon as I got up off the chair from paying for it (well next morning). Great comms, superbly packed and it sounds killer! Thanks again Etienne.
