Ok, so here is a weird one, Silicone strings, fretless, 18" scale length, dogbone body. Designed to be a convenient alternative to the upright bass that apparently some session players used in the 80's? This is one of the later 'Fender' licensed versions that I bought from the forum several years ago. Haven't used it much so off it goes. Overall in very good shape although I have unfortunately added a chip in the front edge - See pics. Comes with the original soft case and a few spare strings Identical to the one demoed here: https://www.google.com/search?q=fender+ashbory+bass&rlz=1C5CHFA_enGB896GB896&sxsrf=APwXEdcA0rQXn8TRf5pvewsHBtd-AP9K1w:1680440284537&source=lnms&tbm=vid&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjJh-fxn4v-AhU-_7sIHVedBTYQ_AUoAXoECAIQAw&biw=1225&bih=1359&dpr=1.8#fpstate=ive&vld=cid:8f315b21,vid:-yfKsRzLHqY Nice little article here: https://www.basscentre.com/bass-centre-ashbory-bass.html Difficult to price as I can't seem to find any others for sale at the moment so I've listed it as £250, but will listen to near offers. Very happy to demo it here in North London N21 or can post at cost.

SOLD The clear out continues! I listed these a couple of years ago and got cold feet, but having had them sit there since unused they need to go! Here are a matched pair of the remarkable Barefaced ONE10 speakers bought from this forum a few years ago. These were a special order from Barefaced using a *edit for clarity* - special hard wearing paint designed for high end PA cabs instead of the usual tolex. This was to avoid the tolex peeling off which the standard version of these cabs are so susceptible to. - I've tried to capture it in the pics. These also have the funky retro silver grill cloth. These are virtually mint as they have seen about 5 gigs in the few years I've owned them. They come supplied with the Barefaced soft covers too also in as new condition. Not looking to split at this stage - Priced to sell at £650 a huge saving on the current price - £549 each w/ covers. Here is a review from the Barefaced website, that amusingly I wrote! banging on about how good these things are. https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0088/3094/3290/files/BGM-One10-Two10-June2016.pdf?17982888344997180786 I'd rather not post at this stage and would like to demo for the prospective buyer, so its collection only from London N21 please. I may be up for a nearby meet up? please PM me.

*Withdrawn* * Price drop - now £850!!!!! * Update July 2023 - Trade for JMJ Mustang preferably blue. The clear out continues - Very nice 2007 USA Jazz in stunning Blizzard Pearl up for grabs. Plays like a dream, sounds like a Jazz. Very nice modern C neck, no fret wear, very clean overall (hardly played) but has one small dink in the top edge (see pics). Weighs in at a very comfortable 3.75 Kg *Edit* (weighed it on a more accurate set of scales and it’s actually 4.2kg.*)on the bathroom scales. Price includes the case, which includes the case candy - Truss rod tool, 2 hex keys, case key, manual, hang tag and Fender strap with strap locks. Collection only from North London N21 with this one please, but I can offer tea, biscuits and bass related conversation whilst you demo it!

If you do find the serial, go here for an exact date: https://www.stompboxzone.com/decoder/
-
It's awkward to date exactly without the serial - which should be inside the battery compartment - have a look. That said it has to be between '82 - '84 as the (r) was removed after that.

Recently bought a lovely Sandberg VM5 from Jason. Easy deal throughout and a lovely guy. Highly recommended.

Offers before eBay! Digitech Stereo Jamman, used with original box, paperwork and power supply. I'll chuck in the 32Gb SD card too. Works great in that it has 4 footswitches, can connect up to your computer via USB to swap files backwards and forwards. Great ability to send different things through the various outputs - I was able to send click to my drummers IEM's and then loop along without the audience hearing the click. Overall nice condition, but it does have a scratch across the front as you'll see in the pictures. Price includes UK mainland postage - First class, signed for. Happy to knock off a few quid for collection from north London - N21 Any questions or further pictures please PM me, happy also to demo here - free tea and a biscuit included!

Offers before eBay!! Tuner, Comp, Octave, Drive, Chorus and Filter all in one neat package. Decent sounding effects, but I find myself reaching for my HX stomp more often than not so this is surplus to requirements. Nice condition - little bit of velcro on the bottom. Complete with the original box, paperwork and PSU . Price includes UK mainland postage - First class, signed for. Happy to knock off a few quid for collection from north London - N21 Any questions or further pictures please PM me, happy also to demo here - free tea and a biscuit included!

*SOLD* EDIT - I should add that I have the original pick-ups and loom, scratchplate and pickup cover that will be included in the sale: So the clear-out continues, Classic story - I need to raise some money, I have basses I don’t really want to part with to sell to raise funds for the next bass. I’m listing a load of basses so as soon as I’ve hit my target I’ll withdraw the rest. Please feel free to hit me up with near offers - I’m willing to listen. Ok, so this started out life as a stock Silver Series (MIJ) 93/94 and I added a Seymour Duncan Quarter-pounder pickup, CTS pots, Orange drop cap, cloth wiring, Genuine Squier tort scratch plate, the pickup and bridge covers and a set of Labella 760M flat wounds which are beautifully worn in. So it owes me at around £250 in extras. This was my attempt at a Jameson ‘Funk machine’ and it works great. It has unfortunately sat in the cupboard for a while now and needs a new owner who will play it. It has a fair amount of play wear and the back of the neck is wearing nicely down the business end - see pictures. I’ll even include my bit of foam I shoved into the bridge to improve the thump. I should add that I have all the original parts that I will include in the sale. I would very much prefer collection in person here in north London (N21) as I can demo the bass with an amp and make sure that the potential buyer is happy. However I do have a couple of shipping boxes that I would be willing to post basses in at the buyers risk. Or I may be able to meet within a reasonable distance and I’m always in central London for gigs.

Please feel free to hit me up with near offers - I’m willing to listen. 1995 MIM - This one is a real wrench as I love the neck, literally the best bass neck Fender has ever made in my opinion. I was so enamoured with this bass when I got it that I decided to tart it up a bit so I added a full set of black Hipshot HB-7’s and a BT7 D’tuner and a black Gotoh 201 bridge which improved things no end. This has a slightly smaller body that your standard P and has active electronics. Great weight, sound and playability. Overall in very nice nick, but there is some flaking of the paint around the cavity at the back - see pictures. This was there when I bought it and hasn't gotten any worse since. EDIT - I have the original tuners that I will include in the sales too - standard Fender 90's MIM chrome. Classic short scale that sounds like a weird Jazz bass and weighs literal nothing. I can find only one tiny dink on the edge of the body otherwise it’s immaculate. Hardly played, still has the shop sticker on the back plate. Unleash your inner Carol Kaye! Fun little bass - needs a new home please. Got this in a trade on here a few years ago and loved it, however the fact is that I just don’t use it enough to justify keeping it. This thing produces an enormous tone for a passive instrument this amazingly well built and feels great to play. This one is in very good condition no obvious chips or dings. It does have little wear to the bottom stringer at the back of the neck, but this doesn’t affect playability. It comes with its original soft case. My one downside with this is that it is a little on the heavy side, but not as heavy as a 1025X! - I’ll weigh it and add to the post shortly. EDIT just weighed it on the bathroom scales - 4.5 Kg, pretty typical for these. Great Jazz this, actually my favourite sounding apart from my custom shop! It’s basically a Classic Vibe Jazz (one of the nice early ones too) that was offered as the guy from Biffy Clyro’s signature instrument. I did briefly install a Kigon series/parallel loom in this, but put it back to stock as it is now. Very good overall condition with some play wear as expected for its age. Small chip on the headstock - See pics. All the look and feel of a 60’s Jazz without the need to remortgage the house. Now discontinued so grab it while its on offer. No case I'm afraid with this either. Boss GT-10B - £185 - *now £175 now £165 Now £150!? Offers before I put it on eBay! The last great Boss multi FX dedicated to Bass. Dual signal paths and some very hi-fidelity effects (even by todays standards) make this a great multi. The number of effects and phenomenal programmability will satisfy even the most hardy of knob twiddlers. Combine this the the amazing (and free!) FX Floorboard software and it’ll pretty much cover anything! Good condition, some signs of use. Original PSU and the original (albeit very tatty) box - No manual though, but this can be downloaded here: https://www.boss.info/global/support/by_product/gt-10b/owners_manuals/1b0c0624-bf01-4547-9a55-641a90f35577/ Price includes UK mainland postage - First class, signed for.
