Bit of a wrench this one as i really love this pedal. It's a gated silicon fuzz with an impedance control so it's fantastic with active basses,it has a three position subs control so no worries about lack of bass with this puppy. This is a very synthy fuzz and sounds incredible with a good envelope filter and octave. I have a red ripper and it was a very tight race between the two,but both do synth bass very well. It's very small and built like a tank,it's in great condition and has Velcro on the bottom. I want £65 incl delivery 😁

Hi everyone For sale is my Samick HFB 590,made in 1995/6 Samick make guitars for all of the big companies (gibson/fender/take mine etc) and for a time brought out their own brand. This is from the Artist series and has lovely MOP inlays on the headstock. It is two tone sunburst and maple construction with a lovely bound rosewood fingerboard. It looks like a lovely archtop jazz guitar with F holes, its Extremely well made with a nice deep but comfortable body and a lovely slim neck. Its quite loud for home practice,I used it to learn songs without plugging in. It has a preamp with three band eq and battery tester,it is currently strung with Elixir phosphor bronze strings. It also comes with a specially fitted hard case. Id be wanting £265 incl UK only delivery Or £250 collected from Morecambe Info on Samick (link fixed) http://samick.wikia.com/wiki/Artist_Series Cheers 😁

Hi everyone Selling my bass soul food! It's fantastic low gain Overdrive. It features a pad switch for active/passive basses,a clean blend to retain low end and a treble control. A lot of variation can be had with the blend and tone and gives gritty sound that cuts through. Switchable buffered/true bypass internally. It's in fantastic condition and comes with the original box and a power supply. Has Velcro on the bottom. Ignore the top price 😁 £45 posted to you 😁

Hi everyone Up for a reluctant but necessary sale is my fantastic Ebs Octabass. I'm having work done on my Stingray and need to soften the blow. It's a later black label true bypass edition with the three way EQ for the octave sound. Cosmetically(the labelling) it's a little bit worn but it works perfectly. It's one of the best tracking Octaver I've used and sounds very smooth, clean and deep. I'm favouring my T16 and don't need two octaves at the mo. Comes with free Velcro on the bottom 😁 No original box but will packed well for delivery. £70 POSTED to your door THIS IS NOW SOLD 😁
Everyday is a school day! How many switch positions does it have? I'm sure it could be put 'right' easily enough.
It has 5 positions 1- bridge pickup in series 2-bridge pickup back single coil and neck pickup front coil in series 3- both humbuckers in parallel 4-bridge pick front coil and neck pick back coil in series 5- neck pickup in series. I just want to be able to switch them to parallel as per the modern versions 😁
Isn't the fully rewards position H parallel? Or has it been tinkered with.
NO mines a 2006 model which is all wired in Series! EB changed it to parallel in 2008,when they introduced the Sterling 5, so musicman must have thought it needed tinkering with 😉😁 it was to differentiate the two models I think! It sounds great, but I want the parallel setting as well.
-
Definitely! Spend a little bit more and get OBBM 😁
-
Cheers Mcnach! I'm actually going to get a pro to do it! I have an old Ray 5HH which is series wired (as per the Sterling) it sounds fantastic and really punches through a band mix, however I miss the parallel setting I had on my old sterling and want that option too.i wouldn't try and do something like that myself 😁 I'm also thinking of adding the East MM 3 band at the same time.
Well everyone wants to tell me that the SUB is EXACTLY the same regarding the electronics, if you can get to the connections on a SUB but not on a Ray then they must be different after all?
So does this mean it'll be difficult to put a series/parallel push pull on my Ray then?
-
I'm considering getting a series/parallel fitted to my series wired Ray 5HH anyone know if this would be doable? It certainly would give a great palette of sounds 😁

He played on an album for Randy Crawford too! My dream gig. Oh and he played for Right said Fred! A great player 😁
Didn't realise until I played it yesterday that one of gtr riffs from John McL on "Right Off" was later used as basis for "You're Under Arrest". b
I wore that album (you're Under Arrest) out in my youth!! Loved Darryl Jones's playing on it 😁

Does anyone know if the Cog 66 mini does a similar job at low settings?
Definitely, it would be like upgrading your dinner from pedigree chum to fillet steak!
Lol cool!!😁

I've been thinking of getting the VT bass DI for low gain OD with a clean blend and EQ to replace the soul food. Would that be something worth considering?
-
The EHX soul food has the clean blend and low gain drive. I'm happy enough with mine, but I'm still looking for something that does the same thing only better 😁
