How much did two kids cost you? Sorry. These basses are wonderful. When I was gigging with a signed artist he insisted I played one of these strung with Roto flats and a slab of foam at the bridge. Sounded wonderful. Good luck with the sale.
too much!!!. currently looking at what I could sell

I really wanted this a few months ago! Not in a position to buy anything for a couple of months though due to daft spending at Christmas (two kids πŸ˜†) Fingers crossed.
  4. Thanks Nick I think 70's wind Nordstrands are wired a certain way to replicate 70's ones too. These look fantastic! I'd quite fancy them for my JV (which have Nordstrand 60,s) and I even love the cream covers. Not in a position to buy until the end of Jan though πŸ˜•
  5. As the name implies, are these 70's wound pickups? Much like the Nordstrand 70's wound nj4's?
  6.
I'm very happy with my Diamond bcp1. Very easy to use ad it's only two knobs for compression and volume, plus a handy little tilt eq for subtle adjustments more of a tone enhancer, but tames slaps and pops nicely . I'm also very fond of the EBS multicomp, dead easy and sounds great.
I liked the 3leaf pwnzor and Effectrode pc2a too, the former is hard to find and the latter is quite expensive though πŸ˜†

  9. I loved my small stone too! Im currently using a Source Audio Lunar . Absolutely loads of sounds available im current ly using it with a Phase 90 sound and an incredible Envelope controlled 6 stage Phaser which sounds wicked with a fuzz. Oh and itcan do Chorus and Flange in a small pedal too endless tweakability.
  10. These are fantastic basses, ive got a factory fretless one from 83 and its amazing. The link is very handy too and has confirmed my date

  16.
My new board, having just received the Future Impact. Today was the first time I've been able to mess about with the software editor, and triggering it via Keyboard, but I have to say - VERY cool. They've knocked it out of the park with this one. Barely even touched the surface of what this unit can do. MIDI cable for plugging in my keyboard controller: Underneath you can see I've connected some short MIDI cables from TheGigRig so that I never have to detach it from the board for any reason. I've taped the MIDI in cable that will be used most often to the side of the board so it sits just out of the way but is easily accessible. The MIDI Out cable is only needed for downloading sounds and firmware so isn't used live. Got 6 days to get all my patches in order and songs learned, and then off I go!
very cool Board Higgie show us your modulation πŸ˜†
