1.
What kind of tone suck did you experience with it, if you don't mind? I've just acquired an old 24v Q-Tron+ which I'm yet to try out!
Hi Rory I used it in an old boss bcb pedal board with a load of EBS pedals at the time, all the pedals went in its built in loop and were powered by the board. I had to power the Qtron seperately but it was still in the loop. I was playing a show and the power supply to the Qtron went and i had to plug straight into the amp and what a difference!!. The other pedals were older EBS so i blamed the Qtron I didn't have the same problem after I moved it on,however no filter ive had sounds as good
2.
Did the Wonderlove do it for you???
yes very much! I love the tone and its very flexible. I love the loop, I have a mastatron fuzz and EBS octave in it and the synth sounds awesome. Just need anOC2 or a cog t16 for a more synthy octave
3. This is now sold! The new AE112 has been re-voiced for 2011 and maintains the full yet tight low end with masses of bass extension, however the mids are warmer, still clear, yet smooth and very punchy for a 12" cabinet and the high end tweeter gives you crystal clear high end without being aggressive or abrasive. Great on its own, amazing as a pair! The New reference for lightweight 12" cabs. Model AE112 specifications: •1 x 12" Custom Neodymium driver with 7 oz magnet •high intelligibility 1" tweeter •custom phase - coherent crossover with tweeter level control •power handling - 300 watts rms •frequency response: 40hz - 18khz •sensitivity: 100db @ 1 Watt/1 meter •2 x 1/4" and 2 x neutrik connectors •impedance: 8 ohms •dimensions: 15 3/4"H x 18-1/2"W x 15"D •40cm x 47cm x 38cm •weight: 31lbs/14 •This cab works well with high power amplifiers from 300 - 500w at 8Ω Hi everyone in my attempt to raise funds for a new bass, im selling one of my beloved AE112 cabs. It was a tough choice as im not playing enough to justify two cabs, so ive decided to keep my 2x10 and move on the 12, using both together is just too big for the pubs in Lancaster -lol Its in great nick and comes with the optional extra cover, I dont have to go on about how fantastic these neo loaded cabs are as their quality is well known. Id keep it but having major gas at the mo. id like £365 which will include uk mainland delivery, ill knock some off, if a trip to collect in sunny Morecambe sounds appealing Info at the top, ill get a photo up asap
4. Oh my goodness!!! Thats somthing special im currently selling stuff and saving for an overwater and this has my favourite wood top! totally out of my budget though.
5. For sale is my amazing Musicman Stingray 5HH in honeyburst with rosewood fretboard. Its a very classy looking ray with the now discontinued Honeyburst finish . It also features a tort guard on a ash body and a lovely rosewood board on a very comfy oiled maple neck.currently strung with DR high Beams. It weighs 4.9kg / 10.8lbs,(this was the weight given by the previous owner, but it does not feel really heavy with a decent strap) with a string spacing of 17.5mm, It has a low action and being the HH model it's ridiculously versatile. There is a small chip in the rear by the strap pin, other than that it's in really really good condition. This StingRay 5 HH was completed on March 28th 2006 Its been very well looked after as the condition is superb for an 11 year old bass. To be clear this double humbucker version is slightly different to the modern versions as the pickups are ceramic and wired in series (louder with more bass and low mids)as per the Sterling 5HH, in practice this gives the bass a much much warmer and punchy tone (very P bass like on the front pickup) while still exhibiting the stingray bounce. The mixture of the different pickups gives a great array of tones, and with both pickups on its like a really beefy jazz but with Musicman characteristics. Ive used this for various theatre gigs as well as functions and original material and ive found the tone more useful than other rays ive had in the past. link to Musicman page, showing the coil positions for this bass https://www.music-ma...sses/sterling-5 It also had a great demo of the sterling 5hh which has the same pickups as this by Ed Friedland. It does come with the OHSC. I will be wanting a firm £1025 delivered with insurance, which is cheaper than similar HH or H ray 5's that have sold on here recently(I will do £1000 if you'd like to collect from sunny Morecambe) I do not wish to post this overseas. cheers 😀 NOW SOLD!!!
6. Don't suppose you'd be interested in any trades? 😆
7. Every type of Phase/Flange/Chorus in a compact and pretty blue pedal bump.

9. Link to the source audio homepage http://www.sourceaudio.net/products/one_series/lunar_phaser.php I got this to save space on my board by replacing three pedals as i have programmed it with chorus/flanger and phaser (can store a total of six different effects via two modes)sounds via the neuro app. It has access to tons of sounds and parameters and is worth the price for the envelope controlled phaser alone (just like the pigtronics) This is in brand new condition and boxed with the power supply and special cable to plug it into a mobile phone. A trade for an MXR bass chorus Deluxe would be nice, or £95 incl postage. If the buyer wants it returning to the three phasers setting I can do that,or leave it as set and you can explore away.
10. Bloody hell that's an amazing price for such a work of art. It's a shame there's so many stingrays for sale, otherwise id sell mine to get this 😆
11. No it has the original preamp! I'm just thinking of replacing it,as it will have a parametric mid eq as well as the vintage voiced ray 2 band.
12. Cheers Andy yeah I meant to say on both pickups as it would mess up the other settings. An online search basically came up with EBMM forums and they don't like modding, and advise selling and getting g a newer one,but I love the honeyburst which isn't available anymore. Id even be tempted to add an east 3 band MM circuit 😆
13. Hi Everyone ive have a gorgeous Honeyburst ray 5HH dated 2006. As such it is wired in series (as per the sterling 5hh). While it sounds great, I really wanted the classic stingray parallel tone on the back pickup. I didn't do my homework on the basses date (2006)when I bought it and was wondering if anyone has had a series parallel switch added to a ray to get extra tones, I really like the bass so would rather not move it on.also if anyone can recommend someone in the Lancaster (or North west) that could do this, that would be great. Thanks loads
14. Oohh I like that!! Is the P pickup in the right place to get the "sound" 😆
15. Arrrgh missed them 😆 if it doesn't work out, could you give me a call 😆
16. Does this do low gain grit, like the EHX soul food or bearfoot blueberry? cheers 😆
17. Why are these T16's turning up now when I'm skint until the end of the month 😆
18. Wow I can imagine how amazing this is with the Berg IP 😆
19. Yeah I had one of these and loved it! Used it as a pre/Di on a national tour and the soundman loved it,high quality All round. Wish I had the cash to get another 😆
20. I visited my home town of Newcastle over the weekend! Much nicer place than I remember, however I do miss Howards bass place. Nowhere there for cool basses, grott guitars sold grot as I recall from my youth. I am very lucky as I live in Morecambe now and I have promenade music a 20 min walk from my house. It has a truly fantastic selection of basses, that you won't find in a lot of northern cities.
21. For the money! I really liked the EHX bass big muff nano! Has a clean blend which isn't perfect but worked well for me 😆
How much did two kids cost you? Sorry. These basses are wonderful. When I was gigging with a signed artist he insisted I played one of these strung with Roto flats and a slab of foam at the bridge. Sounded wonderful. Good luck with the sale.
too much!!!. currently looking at what I could sell
