  1. Lovely bass, but 60's spacing, black, and 35" scale are not what im looking for currently. They sound fantastic on online demos, and Peter is a top fellow to deal with.
  2. Some soundclips would be very cool, even on your phones camera.
  3. Ooh, he loves a Sadowsky does our Higgie! Its going to a good home.
  4. Another flawless deal with Paul. Absolute legend of a fella, great comms, quick payment, all the usual stuff. He even sorted the courier, when they decided they were too busy to give the service I'd paid for. Always a pleasure mate, enjoy the bass
  5. I've just sold a very cool little Acinonyx bass to Martin. Friendly comms, quick payment and a lovely chap all round. Highly recommended, thanks Martin
  6. You should of had a game of pass the parcel 🤣
  7. Oh wow!! That Hellraiser is a work of art!!
  8. Lovely bass! A Dingwall for people who dont do Dingwalls.
  9. Getting rid of stuff to buy a bass, next up is my fantastic boutique envelope filter by the mighty Earthquaker Devices. I'd wanted to try one of these after watching a fantastic video by Michael League. It has such a funky and responsive sound and a few tasty tricks up its sleeve. It's very easy to dial In with basically a sensitivity and resonance control, as well as a very cool dial, to blend between LP/BP/HP and gives subtle variations between the three. It has the. Usual UP/DOWN modes , which a lot of filters don't seem to have. I always need a downsweep as I use filters primarily for synth tones, as I have a C4 having this pedal is overkill. I features a very cool "sample and Hold" function, which is basically random frequencies generated by the notes you play, almost like electronic auto percussion, the speed can be controlled (warning it goes low, maybe a limiter after would help) Its in a very funky white sparkle and in as new condition. No box but will be very well packed. £120 Inc UK only delivery.

  10. This is the Daddy of octavers, but I currently have 3 octaves and need to unlock cash for a bass. Fabulous versatile octave, featuring a filter on the octave, so it can go from extremely subby, to synthy and gritty. It also has a useful tilt EQ on the clean, which increases highs and cuts lows, or vice versa, this makes the tonal options very useful. It's in used condition, and previous owner has fitted rubber pads on tbe bottom, to help with fitting velcro. I can't remember if I have the box, I'll have a look, but it'll be very well packed for delivery. Last price drop £80 Inc UK only delivery
  11. Absolutely fantastic turnout today, everybody has been so generous. I'm very proud to be part of this fantastic community.
  12. Lovely octavers these, fat rich tone abd fantastic tracking. Polar opposite to an oc2.
  13. Done!! Great job Clarky, you're a star 😁
  14. Fantastic price for one if these!! Ive just bought one, I can't afford two 🤣
  15. Such a shame, but the little one is well worth it, she's a star. I don't need to mention that Andy is a top tier Basschatter, with a sterling reputation, as well as being a fantastic bloke, he's a killer player and knows his stuff. I heard recordings and live footage of this bass and it sounds amazing, deep and articulate, such a great sound. Something like this is well out of my finances, but I'm certain someone is going to be very happy with it 😍
  16. That's not a green pickguard, it's the basses colour, underneath, it's different, if you can find one, other green Sires are that darker colour. Bodacious!
  17. There's something on here that I've decided I need in my life, so I'm having a cull to raise cash. Last up is my wonderful Sire V7 vintage. Fretless 5 string, it's a V2 (with the rolled fingerboard) It's in a very classy white colour, with black fretlines on a maple board. I bought this very recently as a 50th present to myself. The previous owner bought it from Andertons to use on a panto run, so it's as new. I did what i always do and think I'll get back into fretless, so buy a nice one, and I never use it. I do have current wrist issues, so I can't play for long periods of time, to shake the rust off my intonation. I swapped out the original black pickguard for a parchment pearl, which looks very classy on white. Alder body and maple board, with comprehensive EQ onboard. Being the vintage, it has a laquered neck and a bound/ maple board and pickups in the 70s position (very cool bitey tone, perfect for "you can call me Al" slapping 😀 This is a fantastic 5 string and much better than I intended to buy! It's a really versatile sound. This model is currently very hard to find. I've no gigbag, but will be very well packed for transport. I'm looking for £385 incl UK ONLY delivery.
  18. There's something on here that I've decided I need in my life, so I'm having a cull to raise cash. Next up is my wonderful Sire V7 5 string, it's a V2 (with the rolled fingerboard etc) but in the long discontinued sherwood green! The odd thing about this bass is, that it's a much lighter colour than the norm, it's more a light sage green metallic. I swapped out the original pearl pickguard for a black one, and under the guard was the darker sherwood green, there is also a small spot at the back, which is darker. Its also the older Ash bodied (discontinued on V7, but being brought back I believe) with a bound/block maple board and pickups in the 60s position. I bought this from a small shop in Wales after a long search for a 5 in this colour, apparently it was bought new, but never used, I'm wondering If it was left near a window and the colour faded? This is a magnificent 5 string, really versatile sound, with a comprehensive EQ and active/passive switch, but does the Marcus thing, as they all do, if this doesn't go I won't be gutted. I've no gigbag, but the box etc, so will be very well packed for transport, it currently sports a fairly new set of daddario XL's I'm looking for £400 incl UK ONLY delivery.
  19. There's something on here that I've decided I need in my life, so I'm having a cull to raise cash First off is something very special,a Nordstrand Acinonyx (AKA The Cat bass). Its a very funky little shortscale, based on a quirky Italian bass from the 60s (as used by Abraham Laboriel amongst others). It's a very high quality instrument made in Indonesia utilising the tested and true vintage recipe of Alder body, maple neck with an Indian rosewood fingerboard. It's finished in a lovely light blue with a slight sparkle on the finish (it's supposed to be lake placid blue, but it's more like ice blue metallic) with a lovely piece of maple (slight flaming on the Headstock) for the neck which is nice and slim. It has two nordstrand single coils, which look like p90's with push buttons for pickup selection (including an all in button series setting) and 4 present tone settings on other switches (flat, small tone rolloff, heavy tone rolloff and mid notch) Tons of sounds available between the pickups and tone selectors, it has a very rich, dark but articulate tone, it even has a great slap tone. I'll get the weight up shortly, but it's absurdly light roughly 6lbs, and a breeze to play. It's in fantastic condition, the owner before me got it from bass direct, and I've only gigged it a few times, these don't come with a case, but I have a stagg shortscale gigbag I can ship it in. I'm wanting £625 Inc UK only delivery.
  20. I keep looking at this! I'd need to sell three basses to afford it though. I'll have a think, but it'll take too long.
  21. Just got this with an acoustic Bass, and it's a wee bit big, as the bass is a thin sized body, so surplus. It's a semi flight case/gig bag, and very sturdy and pretty much new. It's a bit large, but extremely light. Features The features of the Protection Racket 7054 Classic include: Padding is 20mm ROCKET FOAM Inner Velvetex lining Inner neck support and retaining strap Combination outer pockets Fits Classical and APX shape guitars I will post this to UK only, for £70
