  4. You know it makes sense!
  5. Actually my good friend @AndyTravis said the same thing, it stopped moving and i thought that was as far as itll go.
  6. No its fully loosened (maxed is wrong 😊) and wont move, but the neck is completly flat (no bow) so the lighter strings are too low (bridge saddles up full too) ive bought some heavier strings to put more tension on the neck.
  7. Ive just spent the last my cash buying a BB435, had i seen this, id have had it 😭
  8. Ive decided to get back into the Yamaha camp. Ive had a very large cull of gear recently, and after selling my sire 5s, i was without a 5 string. Im mostly a 4 string player, but like to have a decent 5, as ive owned BB 424/425 and 1024/1025x Yamaha was an obvious choice, so i decided to try the newer BB435 Really surprised how light it is and how slim/flat the neck is, so easy to play, i love the painted headstock and the V/V/T controls. Im not sure on the tone, theyre supposed to be brighter than the originals, but sound quite muffled, although ive nit tried it with my rig yet. A slight issue im having is this particular bass while bought used had pretty much been untouched. The action is far too low, and due to wrist issues ivehad to go to 125- 40 gauge, but the neck is straight and the truss rod maxxed, so i cant raise the action (the saddles are also very high) ive ordered a heavier gauge string, so hopefully will put a bit more bow in the neck. I think once i can sort it, itll he a lovely bass (a tort guard will be on the works too)
  9. Ive just sold a Thumpinator to Pete! Courteus and friendly fellow and a stress free transaction. Thanks load Pete.

  15. The BT1 is a direct replacement for the Schaller® BM tuner traditionally featured on MusicMan® and G&L® basses, lower notes available at the flick of a lever, this is the long stem version. This was sold to me as a replacement for a musicman tuner, however, ive only just noticed that the stem is 6mm longer than the others 🤪 this fits perfectly and works as it should, its a direct replacement for Schaller tuners. -Drop a Major 2nd (E-D) and if your strings have standard thickness cores, -you can go as low as a 4th (E-B) Robust stamped and machined steel construction -27:1 tuning ratio -Fits 11/16″ (17.5mm) headstock holes -Adjustable tension nylon bearing system -Stainless steel key prevents tarnishing and rust where you touch the tuner the most -Mounting hardware included In good condition and in the box, doesnt have bushing. £65 incl Uk only delivery
  16. Will be ineterested to know what your getting to sell these two. I particulary like the jazz.
  17. And the award for longest unsold Thumpinator goes to ..........
  18. Next in my cull is the mighty Source Audio C4 synth pedal. Basically a full Eurorack synth in a small pedalboard friendly format, this can be accessed by either a PC or your phone to create any synth combo your heart desires, as well as access 100's of custom sounds (ill include the cable for connecting to a PC, which you have to buy seperately) Its quite handy as it can also be used as an octave pedal, envelope filter, phaser or sample rate reducer, indeed it can replace a few pedals on your board for space. Six sounds are selectable via a switch on the pedal, or by adding a midi cotroller 120 sounds are available. Its in great condition and i have the original box (somewhere) £170 incl UK only postage
  19. Argh!!!! I had enough money for this, and im down the road in morcambe. Today my cooker packed in and ivw had to buy a new one, so im short 😭
  20. I bought these to put on a short scale for a gig, the gig was cancelled so i didnt bother and put them away, ive since sold the bass, so no use for these. Brand new, i opened the outer box, but didnt take the strings out of the sealed packaging. £16 incl postage
  21. Thanks Greeneking These are first class devices, and work wonderfully well, if my octave goes, ill keep it. These usually sell in hours of being put up, but this hasnt. I wonder if its the 10M input? It just means it works well with piezo pickups as well as magnetic.
  22. Yes, Its a steep HPF set at 25Hz nothing below that gets through, making your amps power section more efficient.
  23. Thanks Peter Some science bits The micro-Thumpinator is a bandwidth optimizer designed for bass guitar. It removes the low frequency signals that are outside the range of notes produced by the instrument. Infrasonic frequencies cannot be reproduced by standard bass cabinets but they often make amplifiers clip, especially when they are set to boost the lower frequencies. The Thumpinator filters the signal content optimising the energy delivered by the amplifier. Low-frequency clip is substantially reduced and the sound is tighter especially at high volume levels. The micro-Thumpinator accepts instrument and line level signals. It can be used between preamplifier and amplifier, between bass and amplifier or anywhere in the effect chain (line or instrument level). It can also be connected directly to an audio interface.
