1. ive only just heard of these! im quite tempted, would you say they are a cross between sunbeams and high beams (brighter sunbeams)?
2.
And here it is, in all its VHS glory: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AvWiT6Q6Awk Thanks for sharing Grammefriday that made me smile 'Awesome' is a rather overused word nowadays, but LJ really was an awesome player.
Randy Jackson on Journeys "ill be alright without you" stingray anything from Bernard Edwards Ditto Nathan East Scott Edwards on anything from rufus! Tom Hamilton on Aerosmiths "voodoo medicine man" overdriven stingray and prob loads more
4. so would you say it would give a nice tubey/motown type of drive, the same way the solid gold beta drive does? I quite fancy one of these myself
5. I don't even play guitar and i want it,absolutely stunning have a bump
6. Finally got my latest board together! don't use loads of effects in what I do, but I stick em in where I can. nowt massively flash but a nice mix of boutique/ vintage Boss/good quality/cheap and cheerful the enabler drives my Bergantino IP stack.Got most sounds ill need, however pedals are addictive and I want more. All housed in a Diago gigman and connected (mostly) with the wonderful OBBM 's patch cables.
7. would love too mate, but a bit out of my price range
8. ive always wanted one of these, gorgeous looking basses! Abe Laboriel uses one and sounds incredible
9. Absolutely gutted, Louis Johnson is one of my biggest influences. As a young player I wore out his starlicks video, he taught me how to slap!!, his groove and tone on "I keep forgettin" is amazing. I love his playing on "The dude" by Quincy Jones, he will be sorley missed.
10. bahh wish I had the cash, I wanted this at £500 ,ive spent far too much buying effects of late
11. still amazed no one has taken this guys arm off! you will never get a rig as amazing as this for such little money! it even includes delivery!!!!! you would just about get two passive berg cags used for this. c, mon Luke, how long have you wanted one of these?
12. ive always been happy with the Diago boards! I had the showman, then the commuter and finally settled on a Gigman. The commuter can get quite a few pedals on.
13. This is a bargain with the postage, brilliant bass for the money
14. This one is mines twin too, although this is in much better nick. Absolutely amazing basses, I wish I had the money for this as id love to convert it to fretless
15.
This. As I've said before, the 6" driver in these cabs is their secret weapon
Id love to hear these and 6" speakers sound great. I really like the bergantinos im using now, but I used to use 2x accugroove tri110s which had a 6" driver and I absolutely adored them. I am really interested in these TKS cabs, are they very clear/hi fi or are they a vintage sounding cab? im currently thinking 1×12, 1×6 and horn with the tweed covers and oxblood cloth x2
16. EBS multi comp runs on batteries!
17.
Thanks for the advice lads, have researched all your suggestions I went with Beely and the radial big shot
Ive one of those! fantastic choice

19. cant believe the price of this, I paid more than that for just the IP! and with delivery thrown in too!!! sombody should jump on this massive bargain. would love to try the monique with my IP too
20. Thanks Chris ive emailed John, however ive dicovered the problem the jack socket got a bit loose which I though t was the original problem. Ive tightened it up but it appears the black lead from the battery to the jack socket has come off, hence no power when the jack is inserted. ive just got to get someone to solder it back on for me as I dont have a soldering iron and dont trust myself to do it anyway, the local tech will probably charge me £50 for 2 mins work Mystery solved
21. Hi everybody Imin a bit of a pickle, i was happily grooving away to the strange rhythms in my head on my Spector when it made I funny sqeaking sound and just went off. ive took the back off and everything looks as it should, ive put a new battery in and nothing Dont know if anyones had a similar thing happen and found out if it was fixable? it may be the barrel jack but id have thought that wouldnt have gone off so quickly. The only tech in my neck f the woods would probably suggest a new preamp which I cant afford, any advice would be appreciated. cheers lee
