  1. New bass incoming so subscribing to this!
  2. Just wondering if anyone has tried their P pickups? Loved all the guitar pickups I’ve heard from them, and thinking about giving my P bass a new set!
  3. These work really nicely as a very secure flight package, but I will split if need be! With the Aero inside the SKB I never have to worry about my bass in transit. I now have a double flightcase for such occasions so this isn't needed anymore. Individual prices: Aero £100 SKB Bass Safe £115 The pull on the Aero front pocket zip is missing. It can still be opened but honestly it's so tight I've never found it much use anyway. It has comfy straps tucked away at the back. The SKB has had some of the internal foam removed... pretty much mandatory to fit any decent gigbag inside anyway!
  4. A very recent Limelight mid-60s inspired Precision. Typical full fat 42mm width neck and a back friendly 3.9 kg. Aged nitro, reliced faded Shoreline Gold finish, a rosewood board with clay dots and rolled edges, CTS pots, vintage wired, switchcraft jack. I do have the original tortoiseshell guard, pictured. Brand new tweed hard case, shipping possible but handover preferred! No trades as it stands.
  5. All prices posted in the UK... Mono Pedalboard Lite, with a Tick bag (clings to a mono gigbag if you have one), £100
  6. Price includes UK postage... this set have seen a few months on my bass, possibly 10-12 gigs? New bass incoming so just getting her set up with a fresh set!
  7. @QuatschmacherJust a very different flavour to the Thomastiks I'm used to! Sometimes I just try other things to remind myself how much i like them...
  8. All prices include UK postage: Polytune 2 Noir Mini £50
  9. A set of La Bella 760FLs, popped on my P Bass for all of about an hour. Not for me! UK postage included.
  10. It's time for me to find a new home for my Stentor hybrid. This bass features a hand carved spruce front and a laminated maple back and sides. The bass comes with a Lightly padded well fitting bag, and a fat foam semi-rigid case. Setup to play easily with Pirastro Jazzer strings, this bass has had a new adjustable bridge fitted plus an upgraded tailpiece and a Wolf endpin ball. It also has a set of F-its F-hole plugs for feedback avoidance live, and a bow. With the top-notch Realist Lifeline pickup, this bass is a gig-ready package for someone! I've tried to show all wear and tear in the photos, but happy to answer any questions/provide any information as needed. Any repairs have been carried out to a high standard. A great instrument that's pretty lightweight too. Happy to discuss offers, and delighted to meet anyone who wants to try it out.

  11. Cheers@QuatschmacherI actually couldn't remember which one was the newer model! No replacement planned at the moment, just invested in a new upright and feeling the pinch both for cash and space. Will likely come back around this way eventually, I can't imagine anything better!
  12. Moog Sub (subsequent) 37 synth for sale... the absolute king of the bass synths these days. NSP Flightcase and Decksaver for safe travel, and if handed over in person I'll include a white Gravity double braced stand. Comes with a dropbox folder crammed with great patches (bought and created) and any support you need to get up and running. Postage is possible but handover much preferred!
  13. I did indeed! I headed to London to try out a couple of different instruments, the first of which was a visit to @Clarkyto have a play with this one. I've been pondering on whether to go vintage or not, and very nearly left with it. If it hadn't been for the final bass I saw being the perfect fit for my needs, I would've headed back and taken this home! A glorious mellow tone and really easy to play. Thanks for making me feel very welcome! Feel free to PM if anyone has any queries on this one too 👍
  14. @Sibob I should say no but I'm always happy for you to try me!
  15. This is the Ampeg flavoured of the two BassRIG pedals... incredibly amp-like! Used at home, no velcro or anything. Price includes UK delivery. I would consider trades including either a V2 Sire jazz 5 string, or an EBS black label Octabass.
  16. Backbeat wearable subwoofer, with original box, carry case, charger and upgraded cable. £240 including postage to make your IEM/quiet gigs feel like you've got your stadium rig on stage!
  17. I've been trying to do justice to the flame on the neck but it's almost impossible in a photo. This bass is now available once again. Sandberg VM5 from 2019, the only 5 I find I can play anywhere near my 4s. As I narrow down on works best for me on my gigs, I have a TT5 on order so I do have to let this go. Hope it's as good! Masterpiece aging, which includes their heat and vibration treatment, 2-band EQ which can be bypassed with the volume push/pull. Part Precision, part Stingray and something jazz-ish in the middle. Comes with both mint and tortoisehell guards, both pictured. Somehow lighter than any of my 4 strings, Sandberg or otherwise. Sandberg padded gigbag included. Would far prefer to arrange a handover in person, and I do travel a little bit, but postage is absolutely doable. Any and all questions / offers very welcome. No trades in mind but may consider lower value items. . . . .
  18. Oh man... that's the perfect solution! We really need to get him back in business...
  19. Cheers @Gwilym, that looks like a decent all rounder! I may give it a punt...
  20. I've been pondering over life without a 5-string for a little while... it's always been a tool for me and my heart is really in my 4s, despite having a wonderful Sandberg 5 that really is my best bass! For the rare occasions I need anything lower than a drop D, and with the advances in pedals over the last few years, I was wondering if anyone has tried anything that really can make the B on the A string sound like a low B and track really well? My octave pedal research has largely centred around synthy/OC-2 goodness, so I've never really delved into the more utility side of things! Any advice appreciated, compact and easy to power is important!
  21. @ambient I have a dropbox folder full of them, drop me a message if you'd like them!
  22. Hey @pn_daythis is the current (well, now unavailable!) model, around 2 years old. Have compared with the 90s model and they are quite different beasts!
