3. Gorgeous! Probably one of the only rosewood board Musicman I have ever fancied!
4. This is wonderful looking, pity you wouldn't consider my Pedulla in a part ex eh?
5. Amazing! Would have this in a heartbeat.
6. Heya, you need to put a trade "Value" in this advert, how much do you value the bass?
7. Err I only live 5 minutes from the 12 bar in rodbourne! Whereabouts are you?!
8. Hey guys. Well I got the bass in, there is a fair few issues. It's missing a part of the surround where its been sawed off! The string mute assembly is also missing. Probably not the sort of thing people have lying around spare! Frets look good, the sound is MASSIVE. Needs a damn good setup. Not sure what year it was made though. Serial number is B00965. Took a photo under the bridge and I am unsure what it actually says. However the pots look original they say 481007-A-98 and 1377811. The switch is pretty loose, it snaps back to the middle position shortly after I switch to the neck or the bridge pickup. Its an old style switch made with sandwiches of wood! I may get my local Luthier to make a new surround or at least fill in the gaps with some ebony and a couple of issues may need sorting so I will likely not have the bass back for a while.
9. Hey guys. I am picking up a Ovation Magnum 1 tonight, anything to watch out for or any comments on its neck size etc? Whats the best way to utilize its growl! All I know about the bass is that its heavy and the neck pickup gives the perception it would be good for dub. Cheers! Rob.
10. Thread now closed.
11.
£409.95! This is a bargain, trust me... you'll never get that quality P-bass for that money again...
Actually someone could have gotten the bass of this quality for far less in the not too distant past. Your not allowed to sell your basses on this site for more then you advertise on others. Pmed regarding this link and I expect an explanation. 13.
I remember seeing this on Talkbass, can't believe you're selling it! If I had the monies I would be all over that, it's amazing.
Yup! I don't have a premium account over there anymore, pity as they were clamoring over it then!
14. Good lord! Amazing. And yes prices please.
15. Bump! had a buyer, but they pulled out at the last minute... And i cant speak french that well!
16. Had a chance to play this last weekend, a real solid bass for not alot of money! The rosewood board is DARK.
17. Is it the lighter ply or the heavier ply version? Wheresabouts are you in Swindon and can I try the cab on a no pressure basis? Would you consider a possible part exchange for my Compact with a small amount of cash your way? Really quite happy with my compact and didnt want to go bigger, but you never know!
18. Depends on the pickups you have. I have a Warmoth P-J with maple body and 70's positioned jazz pup, Both pickups are pretty mid heavy so cancel eachother out when on full, which means turning the jazz pup whilst does not reduce growl, it does reduce mids and makes it less middy. Hope this helps!
19. Whereabouts are you located?
20. No... But one of the 3 batteries powers the finish!
