1. Hey mate. Still needs a trade value. Lovely bass!
 2. Thats my old one! Lovely bass
 3. Hey guys. Precision parts bass. pink body and maple neck, solid wood and very lightweight. All aftermarket black hardware. With Hipshot Vintage black bridge, New 3D style tuners, Dimarzio Split P and Dimarzio Ultra Jazz pickups, completely shielded with tape and paint. Two volumes and no tone. Bags of aggressive growl and it has a lower action then my Warmoth P-J. Light scratches on the scratchplate. Frets have zero wear. £140. Postage will cost extra. Payment must be via bank transfer or cash. Pickup available from Bristol, Swindon AND London.
 4. Will now open the floor for part exchange/trades for valve amps. Orange AD200, Matamps, Laney Nexus, Ampegs. Cheers!
 5. Heres a pic with normal strings!
 6. I blame saturation of the marketplace coupled with fashion. Warwicks are not particularly fashionable at the moment and anyone who wants a Warwick probably already has one. If they dont have one there are plenty for sale from people who decide it "Wasnt for them" I would love one, but I have an even more undesirable Pedulla to shift

 8.
Everything points to them being allen key adjustment. Speak to overwater for estimate, tap him up for the cash for fix, means no more hassle his end.
Claims he has no cash.
 9.
Why would the chap want to pretend it was broken? Not easy to repair.
Trying to possibly get out of an agreed trade after I spent money for travel to pick the bass up. Any ideas?
 10. Heya guys. Just been sent photos of this Overwater. It looks to me like the nut has just been taken off to make it seem like its broken. But I have no idea if Overwater use a Socket style or nut style truss rod adjuster. The guy claims the nut has been sheared off. Basically Is this broken? If so, how easy would it be to repair?
 11. Cancelled, the guy claimed his bass "Broke" after I had booked the train tickets. This is the SECOND time this has happened with trading the Pedulla where I have outlay-ed a lot of money only for the bass that I was trading for to be mysteriously broken just before trading. If you offer a trade STICK TO IT. I am currently out £170+.
 12. Trade now pending
 13.
Chances are (And your probably aware) no one has likely played one here. So all we have to go on is specs on the site. And Oli knows what he is talking about. Ummm that's why I posted about it??? What is wrong with the specs on the site?? - 200 watts (class AB) - 3-12AX7, 4 fan-cooled KT88s - SIngle channel with active and passive inputs - Master volume - 3 position midrange tone selector, push-pull bass and brite boost - 4x10 Celestion Truvox 1020 speakers, tuned port enclosure - Head dimensions: 20"W x 10"H x 11 1/2"D; Weight: 50lbs. - Cabinet dimensions: 24"W x 24"H x 19"D; Weight: 78lbs. I personally would put my live performance with this rig over dry specs, which seem just fine to me, Thanks. Jeesh. And let Oli take his opinions and differences in build philosophy up with the builder, considering he's not heard of/seen Jaguar before, and his recommendation to a "sludge-driven rig" makes me wonder... And Oh BTW- I think Henry Clift knows what he's talking about too. Otherwise, he'd probably be OOB, eh?
I really cant be bothered to argue with you about this. Oli gave a legitimate opinion based on the description given. You asked for opinions and he gave it. No reason to go ultra defensive and ask him to take it elsewhere, where you yourself invited opinions in the first place. Also Jerome Preston is the bass player for Maceo Parker. Surely must know him considering you posted that video?
 14.
No affiliation with the Company, had this amp built for me a few years back after meeting/talking with the owner at NAMM: 4xKT88's 4x10 Celestion-loaded cab. Whaddya think?

Why not PLAY THROUGH and really examine a rig before you pass some kind of judgement based on a "blurry gut shot" and your interpretation of his build specs. I bet the Builder could chime in here and engage on a technical level; I won't and don't care to. If this rig was/is not to your liking- That is fine.
Why ask for peoples opinion on something, only to rip into someone who gave their opinion because its slightly negative? Doesn't work like that, going ultra defensive when confronted with legitimate points. Chances are (And your probably aware) no one has likely played one here. So all we have to go on is specs on the site. And Oli knows what he is talking about.
 15.
BTW, would be interested to see pics with the ramp.
Me too! I have asked for some and will hopefully post them tommorow!
 16. Hi guys. This is just a feeler for the moment as the bass is not in my hands and is subject of a trade deal. (I have permission of the current owner to post this) The neck is a 7 peice, flame maple and purpleheart with a figured birdseye maple fingerboard. The body is alder with a flamed maple / cocobolo top. The circuit is Demeter 3 band. The pickups are Bare Knuckles with a passive option. Recently a ramp has been installed (Not shown on photos). It's had a recent fret dress and setup and it plays amazingly well. Red LEDS side markers are installed. The scale length is 33". It has some minor playwear and dings. Here are some videos of another bass-chatter playing it (Through a SS crate 50 watt amp) Trade-wise I am after 6 string basses (Possibly a wide spaced 5 String, but would have to be pretty special!), maybe a Gibson RD. May consider part exchanges with cash my way for things like a Musicman Stingray etc. Of course if you think I may like your bass and does not sound like anything I have described give me a shot anyway, I may like it Trade value is £1250. Bass is available to try in either Bristol or Swindon. Cheers! Rob.
 17.
Now on eBay??
It is yes. Obviously if anyone wants to buy it, I will pull it off of Ebay and sell at the price stated in this thread rather then the E-bay price!
 18.
Wouldn't it be nice if people were actually interested in these bassists and bought the magazine.
Maybe putting them in the magazine would make people interested in them?
 19. One of the biggest problems I find in bass guitar magazines is that the same bass players are interviewed all the time. Usually either virtuoso's or bassists in large bands. I would like to see some more "Alternative" bassists being interviewed. Such as Wilhelm Screams bass player Brian J Robinson (Who is definitely no slouch).
