2. Sale agreed pending pickup. And Kev, you are right, its an amazing sound! Lovely player, I think after I get the bass I am after next, I will be after a Thumb Broadneck!
3. My Warwick Thumb NT5, Vintage 1986 for only £1200
4.
I would seriously consider that! The NT's do sound a bit different to the BO's (a bit beefier in the lows and a bit more sparkly in the upper registers), but at that price you are onto a winner! The earlier NT Thumbs are sublime. Throw in some Bart pickups and an EMG preamp like did with mine and you will have a friend for life!
Step into my office. http://basschat.co.uk/topic/183068-fsftpe-warwick-thumb-nt5-1986-in-vintage-white-l1200/ It's a 1986 one
5. I have a Vintage handmade Thumb NT5 for £1200 if your interested
6. Hello all We have put into place an updated firm policy on bumping and trade valuations, Please follow these or your advert faces deletion.
5. You must state a price for your item. Even if your item is just for trade, you must include your trade valuation of your item as a guide for others seeking to trade. Anything without a price clearly stated will be subject to removal. Also do not invite 'offers'. 7. "Bumping" - The practice of adding a post to your advert for the purpose of moving it to the top of the forum. No more than one "bump" per 36 hours please. The moderators will delete adverts that get 'bumped' too often.
The bumping rule has had to be put into place due to the increasing amount of people using the classifieds. 7. Bump, cmon guys bargain! Reduced to just £150
8. Have a possible part exchange deal on, though not confirmed yet.
9. Traded. Guys sent his bass out. Mine will be sent out Thursday.
10.
Iceni Zoot V + cash ??
Sorry, 6 string or Gibson RD only, cheers!

12. Trade pending....
13. Hey Guys. This is a factory modified Warwick NT5 Thumb. Serial number L52 86'. The 52nd ever Thumb 5 built It was NOS until it was modified in factory before being originally sold to the newer pickup angle and two peice bridge. It has virtually no wear on all of its 26 frets and has a lovely Ebony Fingerboard. Has some superficial cracks in the paintwork, pretty minor, one slight one on the front. The bass is fairly old! Emg pickups. Only a feeler at the moment as the bass is not in my hands, but will be available from Friday or Early next week. £1200 Trade only for wide string spaced 6 String bass, or GIbson RD. I may consider a part exchange for a Fender/Musicman (Something easily sellable), but would need at least £600-800 my way. I can post at buyers cost or can meet up in Swindon/Bristol/London. Cheers! Rob.
14.
you've been messed around more than most.... but it's a bright green bass. a bright green bass. so a bit harder to sell, as you have found. I would probably say I would love to own it, cos it does look like something brill. But like many I am sure, don't have space for a a bright green bass as my main bass.
I dont care for the people who havent contacted me, they dont want the bass then thats fine. It's the sheer amount of people who HAVE contacted me that say they want the bass. Then every single one of them drop off the radar. I count at least 12 people who offered a trade, I accept, then nothing. They all obviously realise before they contact me that its a green bass. In three instances I spend money (after I doubley confirm that they want to trade) on couriers or train tickets only for them to turn around and say "Sorry I broke my bass", "Sorry the truss rod nut came off" or just ingnoring my messages and calls after I confirmed booking. Current amount I have spent "Trading" this bass is around £180 and its incredibly annoying.
15.
The shape doesn't photograph well but it looks great in person. Not such a fan of the colour though, and a shame to see the Bartolini pickups missing. A 'buzz with Barts and an expoxied board is one of the best sounding fretless basses around. I've not had as much time with MVP's though.
I had a buzz with barts and this MVP had barts originally, tbh they sounded dark and lifeless to me. The EMGS in this one really makes the bass all that more alive!
16.
Find some
I am trying! Hence the low low price of my Pedulla!
17. Heya everyone. My name is Rob, I am 27 years old and I have just got a job in London. I'll be moving from Swindon to London in a few days time and would like to have a band lined up! I have good equipment, skill and work ethic. I am also willing to do clean/growl backing vocals. I am an upfront bass player who likes to play some lead style bass, however I will cut back and play roots when the song calls for it. Genres I like: Post Rock, Hardcore Punk, Ska, Funk, Disco, Death Metal, Doom, Doom Metal, Noise Rock, and Pop punk. Band Influences include, Gojira, Mars Volta, Strike Anywhere, Young Widows, Shellac, Fugazi, NOFX, Rise Against, Quo Vadis, My Dying Bride, Slave, Sister sledge, Russian Circles, Maserati etc (A wide variety!) Samples of my playing are available. I can play fretted and fretless bass. Available most weekday nights and weekends. I refuse to be part of a backing band for a solo performer. I want to be in a band where I can contribute in songwriting. I will only consider bands who already have a drummer(!) in place. Cheers!
18. Yup. Though on stage I prefer playing with the neon strings so I can see them better!
19. Hello, you need to put a value on this bass, even if its for trade we need a price value. Cheers. Rob.
20.
http://basschat.co.u...nuclear%20green I love this bass, but my I'd be thrown out of the band if I turned up with it! The shape of the MVP is lovely, and IMO spoiled by a burst finish as it makes those lovely gooey horns less obvious. Its in-your-face looks are great, but more importantly it's had some serious upgrades. I'll be happy for SW when it sells, as it's been on there for ages and he's been pissed about a fair bit, but will also be a bit sad that it's not going to me.
Well I admit that its not everyones cup of tea, but I wish people would make their mind up before contacting me! I know a deal is not done until its done, but its incredibly frustrating the amount of people who said they would take it, only to turn around a couple of days later, sometimes after i had paid for a courier to say they no longer want it. Lots of people loved the finish when I showed it to them, and said they would love to own it, but those same people are now refusing good trade offers for it. Its amazing how two-faced people have been with me in Pms. Ah well. I have seen something I like so had to reduce the basses price again. And to people who think they would look silly with the finish, it makes you look fun, not silly!
21. I have seen something I want, but is only available for a few days. So this is up for sale at the bargain price of £1100.
22. Ahh I would love this, sounds amazing!
23. Belated bump I'll be moving to London by the end of the week so the bass will be there from Saturday! I am now able to add a little cash to a part exchange deal for the right bass.
