5.
Blimey that is a massive bargain if it plays and sounds good?!
Well that was the Jersey ( no VAT ) price , and I don't feel qualified to judge how well it plays or sounds . I have never played another and standing next to it is the worst place to hear it ! The only DB players I have known (from 30 years ago when I quit the music business) are all dead now ! Hard work , but I love it . And now , back to the thread......

 12. The F7 is the dominant of the Bb . The root motion between the two chords is like a V to I , dominant to tonic . Similarly a iii - vi - ii - V - I progression is just a series of dominant root motions . HTH

 14. Musings regarding Joni Mitchell .... At the beginning of this live recording she explains that after reading " Beethoven : His Spiritual Development " by J.W.N.Sullivan she was inspired to write this song from the angle of being Ludwig's personal muse and encouraging him to not give up . ( Ironically the volume fluctuates in this recording ) https://www.youtube....h?v=-JDSQf-YMMw My favourite Joni line is ; He sees the cars as sets of waves Sequences of mass and space from A Strange Boy off the Hejira album

 17. I rediscovered this one last year . It popped up into my memory whilst walking in the woods . I hadn't heard it for over 30 years , when a ( late ) guitarist I worked with used to sing it . Beautiful simplicity ; verse , verse , middle that has an unusual extension , verse , rpt last phrase . That's it . This last weekend in the woods a bird kept singing " Un Homme Et Une Femme " !
 18. I'm not familiar with Sibelius but look for the symbol that looks like an ordinary trill but with a short vertical line through it , in the same way as the difference between an upper mordent and a lower mordent . I have always known it as an inverted trill . hth
