  1. R.I.P. Steve Priest. He kept it simple, most of the time, but he was no slouch.
  2. I had one of those on one of my Thunderbird's, I changed it for a Babicz FCH3 and I've managed to get the action lower than I could with the Hipshot.
  3. Great band and a tasty player is Mr Stelfox.
  4. Can you recall the make and where you bought the neck? I'm in the hunt for a Jazz neck preferably Rosewood with dot markers. GLWTS.
  5. 75 Black Sabbath - Symptom Of The Universe.
  6. This! Not an effects aficionado meself. Anybody know what the effect is on Mr McCoy's Precision during the Piano solo?
  7. I wondered how long it would be before he got a mention. lol
  8. The owner (seems genuine) didn't know what his store manager was buying into his shop. Obviously there was no serious "don'ts" put in place from the off. As far as I can tell RTM only has one shop, if I was the owner I'd be keeping close tabs on everything that came through the door that wasn't from official outlets. Could anyone envisage this going on at Andertons, GAK or Sweetwater? No, me neither.
  9. R.I.P. Dave, A great down to earth bloke and musician.
  10. Looks like they could well be in a bit of bother.
  11. "Two for the price of one here, ridiculous Bass and player too!"
  12. Everything Lozz has mentioned above, Plus Stinkfist by Tool and Stranger by the Minute by Porcupine Tree! Oh and this!
  13. My first was a sunburst short scale Fender Mustang style thing by a company named Lynx. (tried to find a pic online, but no luck) it had a single classic chrome coated pickup and an action you could drive a bus under, any way I dropped it one day and two of the machine heads broke. It was then replaced by a Hondo II Precision (Fender head stock) from me mam's Grattan Catalogue. which had some extensive work done on it by then semi legendary luthier (creator of the flintlock Guitar) Jim Cairnes.
  14. You beat me to it with the Thunderbird. But the G&L is a non-starter for my tastes.
  15. It wouldn't surprise me if he gets family members to buy them, then gives them their money back! I'm loving the "By PCsGC" is starting to appear on his listings.😂
  16. When Captain Sensible decided it would be great fun to urinate on the audience at the Rock Garden In Middlesbrough, in 1979. Luckily, I was far enough away to avoid the Golden stream.
  17. 5. Epi Classic Pro Thunderbird. (Vintage Sunburst) Epi Classic Pro Thunderbird. (White) Epi Vintage Pro Thunderbird. (Ebony) Fender Player Precision. (Black/Black/Maple) Squier Classic Vibe 70's Precision. (Black/Black/Maple)
  18. That had me wondering if MDP has an American relative.
