2. Samla Mammas Manna, a Swedish prog band. Their music ranges from humouristic folk-like stuff to Henry Cow live craze, and they know exactly how much to deviate from theory - both compositionwise and playingtightwise. I lurv them to death. They go under three names: Samla Mammas Manna Zamla Mammaz Manna von Zamla Here's a nice, sympathetic something from the von Zamla period. Hi all

Bonjour Julien, Bienvenue au forum! Votre anglais est très bon, mais nous ne comprenons pas ces lignes:
Lakland 55-94 delux bass Ampeg SVT 4 Ampeg PR-410HLF Ampeg SVT 210HE Ampeg SVT15E Vovox and Fodera jacks.
C'est trop difficile pout nous. Va bien, et à la prochaine fois, all the best, bert (ca veut dire: bertrand)
4. Wow, what a tone, WB. I think someone secretly slid some tonewood into your bass. best, bert
5. If you have an iPhone, then the Gallien-Krueger app might do for you. You'd need a cable that most probably is more expensive than the Amplug, but OTOH, this is way more flexible and gives way better sound. Other apps do roughly the same, like GarageBand and iShred Live, which both incorporate a choice of amps and effect pedals. best, bert
6. Hi Noia, Welcome to BC. Thanks for reminding me that SD Curlee existed/exist. Pics? Enjoy the banter! best, bert
7. Hey Dan, Welcome! Enjoy the talk, and share your wisdom freely. all the best, bert
8. Hi Jack, Welcome! Hope you enjoy the site.

Hi!!

Hey Elrub, Welcome to BC! Your English is OK. No worries. Enjoy talking with us.
10. Great news. Thanks for posting. One has waited six years for this album to surface, and reportedly the wait was worth it.
11.
I meant of the bass being picked up!
OK. Here you go:
12. Hi Dacro, Welcome! What Gust0o said, plus: make sure the bass is available for testing, and let people know where it is.
13.
If it makes you feel any better, the serial number of my Bongo is F12647.
SHED! I've got a cheap Nigeria clone!
14.
ref colour, mine is Sapphire Black.
Thanks, man!
The HH Rays have the bridge H in exactly the same place, same with the Sterlings.
Ah! Thanks for correcting me.
15. Another great, inspiring read. Thanks for posting! If this continues, I'll stop smoking BC and will start injecting it straight into my veins.
16.

OK. Here you go:
17. Hi PR, Great to see you enjoy BC. Keep enjoying!
18.
Am I getting something different than hitting up an HH Stingray?
If I understand what's written on the Music Man forum correctly, then the StingRay HH has retained much of the typical SR H sound in its pushiness, despite the bridge humbucker being closer to the bridge than the original H was. Same forum tells me that a Bongo can never imitate an SR and an SR will never do a Bongo. The Sterling is said to be inbetween them. In my noobly experience, the four band eq on the Bongo is especially important for the two mids when choosing character. The bass and treble regulators are just that, and of course important enough in their own right, but still. It's not too difficult to come close to a P sound for example, so whatever the deviation, functionally it will do old Motown. Remember: noob talking. Part of the joy in owning a Bongo is the comfort for the plucking hand. For me personally it's also the nitro neck paint that feels very quick and very secure at the same time. Haven't tried with sweaty fingers though. Plus it's a Bongo fer cryin out loud! Y M Does V
19. Congrats! Can't say I'm surprised really. Even to my noobly senses, the Bongo evidenced soo immediately that it's a beast, and even I realised it plays the bass for me. Love the Ferrari and concerto notions. I may use them. You tolerant about copyrights? BTW, CB, do you know what that colour of yours is called? I'm pretty sure it's the same as mine, and I couldn't find out about my colour definitely on the EBMM site. Your picture was a lot clearer.
20. Well? It's already Tuesday, and we haven't heard a thing!
21.
Like this? I love my Bongo!
O M G ! I take back the white pg
22. Hi Tom, Welcome back to the right track. Just GAS when the lights are green, and you'll be ok. Enjoy the forum!
23. Big chuckle time in Tractor Mansion. Thanks for sharing!
24.
Sorry, I should have said, 'Now that really surprises me. ' Missed off the smiley. It doesn't surprise me at all. Not one bit. The man's an arse of the first order.
Show some respect, please! The man's got balls the size of melons! Filled with energy from spirits!
