Can't wait to see what it looks like inside there.[/quote] Haha it's a big pcb, with a bit of PTP on the octal bases. Not sure i got any pictures of your amp. All the essentially stuff had been done when i had it apart at mr chambos. Few things i'd always recomend doing though, is give the valve bases a clean, clean the pots while its open and clean all the jacks.

it depends what impedance the effects wanna see and most pedals are gonna be most happy when driven by a high impedance source

generally just do what you feel comfortable doing, the more comfortable you get on stage the more you'll find yourself just getting into the music ;o

guess its running + and - 9v. you'll need to get a 4550 or similar voltage double involved.

Been a long time since i made any progress on the amps, essentially with last attempts, chassis's i got made where done oposite to way i wanted didn't have mounting holes and half the holes were the wrong size and the transformers i got didn't perform as well as i hoped. So i've found someone reliable to do my chassis's and i've got someone to make me some transformers to partridge spec which will do some huge low end! heres some pictures of the first chassis with layout on top ready to be marked out and cut.

Up for sale is my dynatone 100w valve head. I've done a little research but havn't been able to find much information on this head on the internet from inspection it appears to have been a quality rebuild on what i assume is a carlsbro chassis. Everything about the build of this amp is quality i.e big transformers, quality caps, good lead dress / wiring. Soundwise i'd compare it more to a marshall superbass but with extended low end so it sounds mint cranked and does nice big round warm cleans. it runs a quad of el34's for 100W's of power. i'm after around 250OBO offer for it. I can ship this anywhere in the world at cost to the buyer. Also have the matching cab with it, can cut an offer if you'd like the cab is of good construction and looks beasty, is unloaded now though. After 100OBO for it. Most valve bass amps will cover all the usefull frequencys.

ahh i saw this one in johns workshop. Really not a huge fan of the red iron amps, it looked like it was made out of spare bits he had lying around!

Nice always good getting an old amp full on mullards! It is worth selling them but you wont get anywhere near those prices unless you can prove they're well matched and in good condition.

Due to finally finishing my shuker bass, this is up for sale! Right this is a sale for a squire modified jazz bass, and since no one wants it, i'm parting it out. First up is the mighty mite neck, has been drilled already for tuners and hasn't been finished etc. Great neck and i'll throw in a set of tuners with it. It's a maple neck with a rosewood fretboard and all usual stuff, i'll get measurements later! [b] Looking for around 35 for it.[/b] Body is a squire vintage modified jazz, this is pretty much all spec apart from the internal cavities have been lined.
