    Man are my fave band of all time. Been fortunate enough to get to know them, and even met my wife at a gig (who said all prog fans are male?) Hence Deke Leonard was our best man! Or should that be Man?

    Doing two gigs (last night/tonight) with the mother of all colds. No fun, no alcohol just drugs (day nurse.) Last night was a legal firms party - never seen so many blondes in 6 inch heels and little black dresses... All drunk when they arrived!

    Just woken up in Cardiff after their show. Pino (local boy) played a 57 P bass ( looked like) all night. Daltrey lost his voice; don't know how he will do the O2 gigs on Weds/Thurs!

    Jo taught me for a while a couple of years ago. His main 4-string bass is/was a Japanese Fender Jazz; I have since bought one too!
