3.
Also the 12th, 13th, 14th etc frets and upwards may need re-ferreting.
I'll get my stoat!
4. more Chrissie Hynde than Suzi Quattro .... Are you sure, Simon? Suzi born 1950, Chrissie born 1951! Love the bass by the way.
5. That is absolutely fabulous! Bill McCormack on fretless, if I'm not mistaken. Bravo!
6. It just seemed to be a version of the Jonathan T*ss show. The whole series was lazily done anyway. Why bother?
7. My God, this is identical to my first bass amp ever! Wish I'd kept it - have a bump.
8. Nice! Funny how many people replaced the stock pickups in those days... Not unlike my own, but with no buckle rash. Mind you, you don't get that in the loft.
9. Bit like Clarky, we hung around so our drummer could get his arm back working properly (ligaments, I think). He then decided he'd rather be a dad than drum, having fathered a child in the meanwhile - despite being the youngest grandfather I've met. 'I want to be a better dad this time around' - what can you say to that? But while this was going on he'd been moonlighting with a previous band! Drummers, eh? can't live with 'em, can't live without 'em.
10. Rock and Roll Hoochie Coo by Johnny Winter.
11. Don't know how to say this, but it looks like your kid's been nat your bass with some felt tip pens.

13.
I have drawn comparisons with John Entiwstle
Is that John Entiwstle of the How? Don't worry I do it all the item...
14. Worked with Charlie in the Eighties. Charming man, and so knowledgeable. If you're interested go to www.cherryred.tv where there's a lengthy and recent interview with him.
15. I'm interested in the 1989 Fender signature thing as I have an '89 L-1000 with Leo Fender signature on. Anyone know more about this controversy?
16. Don't mod your Precision - no need to mess with a classic. And do you play Message In A Bottle in the recorded key? I'm having trouble getting up to the high notes! Good luck Mick
17.
Sad indeed, but it's already been covered here: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=79040
Worth clicking the link though!
18. Can't help. Bobby but since I have a similar and reliable piece of kit I am struck with terror! Will be looking at the conclusions of others with interest. Good luck!
19.
Is it terribly wrong to confess that I so would have 'done' a young Ozzy?
Shaaaarrrroooon!
