2. £93 a reasonable price? PM'd you the link!
 3. Great gig in Abercarn last night. When we take our own PA and set up ourselves we get a much better sound! During the 1st song of the 2nd set the guitarists string broke so we went into 'emergency solos mode' while he sorted it, but after 3 or 4 minutes the drummer told me to stop playing. So I did - whereupon the horn section break into this phenomenal New Orleans style improvised street funk - It was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!!!! God I love this band!
 4. Playing tonight in the Commercial!
 5.
Try the Fender 9050CL 45-60-80-105 flats set. Feel and tone. They converted me from rounds.
+1! I try others occasionally and at the moment have some Rotosound flats on one of my basses but nothing beats the Fender flats for me - perfect tension and feel.
 6.
Hi Tom . I am not familiar with the original model of this bass , but given the current trend towards more retro and quirky style instruments I would say that their would probably be intrest in this kind of bass from players in the modern/ alternative rock genre , or what here in the U.K is often referred to as "indie" bands . I like the look of the original with the bifurkated aluminium neck , and I would have to see the new design to give a proper opinion on the updated version . From your description , it sounds like this bass would be a mixture of the modern and traditional and I suppose it's success could depend on striking a balance between those things that appeals to other bass players . It must be exciting having the prospect of a signature model and having some input in the design of the bass . Best of luck with it !
I learnt a new word today.

 8. Ah, just found this so maybe it's ok.
Last time this happened it was because the site was effectively added to a list when it was hacked, but once it was fixed the name remained on the list until we requested it to be cleared. I also remember it being the case that it's very unlikely that any data on users or accounts was accessed as they are behind a lot of security. The 'hack' merely accesses some basic front end software. ped
9. I've seen a few posts saying there were problems with a hack last week, which has got me thinking about information I store on this site. I have PM'd a few people my bank details and address and they have let me know theirs for payment purposes. Do i need to delete this info from the site? Or did the hack not go this far?
 10. 11. I'd much rather get the FAB than the FAG.....
 12. This looks nice! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1984-Ibanez-Roadstar-II-Bass-/170944081611?pt=UK_Musical_Instruments_Guitars_CV&hash=item27cd0faecb
 13. They had a contract with you and if they couldn't fulfill it it's their problem! They should still pay you!
 14. Oh man! Wishing you a speedy recovery!
 15. Played in The Moon club in Cardiff. WOW - Our best gig ever! The place was so dead that they had to stop charging on the door and by 11pm we had to start anyway as the curfew was Midnight. As soon as we started playing loads of people were coming in and by halfway through the first song the dancefloor was packed with people going crazy! Pretty much all sexy girls too who knew how to dance - I thought I was dreaming! 3/4 of the way through the set right at the end of a song my E string broke - did I have spare? - Nope! Did I have my spare bass - Nope cos I sold it last week and it's replacement hasn't arrived! So I legged it downstairs where another band had played earlier and luckily I knew their bass player and he gave me the E-string off his bass - lifesaver! Sprinted back upstairs where the band had just invented a new song on the spot, wapped the string on and we carried on - brilliant! Now the club are talking about making us the house band for their Friday funk nights. Edit: Oh yeah and during Funky Nassau we put in a breakdown where me and the guitar and a duel - no idea we were going to do that before the show, we've never done it before and the crowd loved it - improvising rules!
 16.
Chrome and FB is fine everywhere I've seen it. I'm starting to think there's an underlying issue with your computer which is just being displayed differently through different browsers.

I also having problems with internet explorer on my Windows Phone as you describe...

yep me too. I thought i was the only one. No new paragraphs can be started, looks like Im a mad speed fiend if i make a long post, with no paragraphing I made a post about it several months back nobody else seemed to know what i was on about. As Rab C Nesbit said. when spying a kindred spirit "Hands across the sea! Hands across the sea"
17.
I should be getting my win8 machine today so Ill see what happens. Im still curious as to which ie it is though as win8 theres 2 different types. One of which I can see being far more likely to have issues
Ok how do I tell which it is?
....?
Using Google Chrome I can't comment on Facebook or view pictures and the format of the page os ker-azy.
 18. Played a band showcase last night with Super Chango! and apart from some weird crackly moniter nonsense it was great! We were tight, and our horn section (with brand new trombonist Tony 'Fat Tone' Trombini) are bonkers good!
 19. It looks normal but the return key won't function in posts or PM's
 20.
IE is the best browser to use to download other browsers! - Firefox & Chrome are miles better!
I'm using Chrome for Basschat but it doesn't work with Facebook or a whole load of other sites, and Firefox has too many security issues for me to download that. Any chance of a fix for IE9?
 21. Calum bought my Thunder II from me and seemed like a thoroughly nice chap. Good communication and payment, no hassles at all. From this experience you can buy/sell with confidence!
