    I am an absolute sucker for gear, but for some reason the Multiamp doesn't interest me in the slightest. Probably has to do with the fact that 1. Markbass and I do not seem to get along all that well and 2. the all in one thing scares me, what if it breaks (I had the same thoughts with the Kemper profiling amp). That said, good review and taste is everyone's personal prerogative!

    Generally 1 210 is not enough for anything bigger than low sound level rehearsal/small pub gigs, 2 210s are, 2 112s are in my experience.

    Not entirely sure about this, but lets check interest. I have this as a 2nd rig and I have to admit I am not using it too much, whilst it is a great sounding and very light rig. Cabs come with Roqsolid padded covers and are in very good optical condition, only a few minor scrapes. Head comes in a padded case, and apart from a few scuffs still looks very good. Looking for £650 for the whole rig, including speaker cables. Would prefer not to split but may be willing if I have buyers for the loose components. I live in Holland, shipping would be around 50£ to mainland Europe and UK. Pls check my feedback for an indication how I ship my stuff. Or trade for a 610/412 or similar. More pics upon request, the cabs and head are not in the same location so attached a pic from a recent gig. Vertically stacked.

    I support Bootsy666, although the maths don't lie and BFM's advice should put a stop to it sometimes you have to do what you have to do. If (when) it turns out not to work the cab could easily be converted into a forward facing 4x15 that would work well. Also sludge/stoner fuzz walls of sound require something that does not necessarily fits convention or even sanity.... Go bootsy!

[/quote] I got it, I meant that an M2500 isn't the no holds barred monster the L2500 is, but it will still bite you b@llocks off. A little easier to use in multiple band settings.

    The 2TEK version was Gen 2. I owned several Gen2's and a Gen1. For me the Gen2's are probaly best bank for the buck you can buy JB wise. The Gen1 I liked at the time (it was my 2nd bass), but aimliked the Gen2 more, just slightly better quality build. 30 years of use will leave both looking better than your average Fender, very good build quality. I saw a Gen1 one in a Houston shop last year, 300 US...... Cheap as chips.

[/quote] A polite L2500 sound will still be face melting compared to your SRs IMO. I play in your face rock with it... No problem.

    Mostly fingers, also pick, also thumb and fingers for an upright like sound, some slap........ Bottom line, whatever feels right and you think is/ sounds best.

    Personally I think bi-amping is a waste of time and I stopped doing it in mid-90's. In the olden days it made sense, but the current bass speaker/cabs are so efficient it is simply not needed to get a full-range/ well rounded tone. If you do want to biamp, the 800RB is perfectly suited to do it. You need a lot less watts for the highs than you need for the lows, 100w is more than plenty. 300 RMS is roughly what most D class heads put out in real terms, I would say enough for most situations. The "weak" comment is incorrect. I your cab can handle much more power it would not necessarily sound weak if you use less.

    Eminence 3015's would work. Although the maths do not lie, the cab may be pretty well suited for the sludge/stoner I have just enjoyed checking out....     Come over to Holland for a weekend in Amsterdam and drop by our rehearsal studio, I have a M2500 (USA) as my main bass. It has a slimmer neck than my L2500, I do not like big necks and it feels very comfortable. That said, you have Ibbies so most necks will feel a little chunky in comparison perhaps. Very flexible bass, great feel, great tone..... An L2500 in a suit, a bit more polite. Compared to the several Stingrays HH and HS 5-ers I owned I prefere the neck and tone of the M2500. Thomann has a 30 day return policy.......

    Subscribed to this...... a thing of beauty and magnitude, although I have some question marks on if it will also sound as good. WINISD required and some "specialist" opinion I would suggest.
