1. Great amps, hope it works out. Fender absolutely annihilated GB within a few years.... as they did with Ovation, Hamer, Sabian and SWR. I understand GB perhaps will return under new management/ownership and Jeff Genzler (like Dan Lakin before him) apparently is working on some great stuff. Yeah to the small business model and down with corporately run "music"
2. Forgot the one pre-fretting, just block inlays and binding done...

4. Rob....... An absolute stunner. I often wonder why some custom basses are so expensive, but the quality and workmanship stands out here. Wow, wow and three times wow. Now the question is, which 6 do you take to the gig......

6. I also use a stereo recorder (Zoom esque, but Tascam), works a treat, just add a little compression, normalise and EQ and the results are quite good. If you need separate tracks good suggestions already provided.

Velcro or ?

Use the velcro..... AND.....Cut wooden strips that span the gap in the pedaltrain, fix the strip to the underside of the pedaltrain with double sided tape, then use a big tie wrap to fix the pedal to the wooden strip, in essence sandwiching the pedaltrain. I use this solution to great effect on my PT3.
8. Core part of my pedal board......... Worth every penny.
9. It is quite different, at first I didn't like it too much..... But it grew
Love the look of De Gier basses. Not ENTIRELY sold on the headstock but I think it would grow on me!
10. Body not yet BURST coloured, pretty orange for now
11. More progress, neck binding in, routed for block inlays
12. Ah, it became a neck....
13. That looks very cool. The waiting has commenced
14. Apart from all the slightly off putting deviations off topic there is a lot of good advice here. But it is very important just to be patient. It takes time before you adapt your style to suit the fretless, once your fingers are used to making the tone as apposed to the frets doing part of the job for you, then you will see that it becomes easier to find your own fretless voice. And listen to Pino Paladino as well, I still like his fretless playing from back in the day. Simple and effective.
15. This will either become the neck or a cricket bat.
16. Evidence Audio SIS, they are solderless but srew in. Not cheap, but they will sort the issues (I also used to have George Ls), are compact and have excellent audio characteristics.

18. I had it, great sounding amp and incredibly loud at 250 watts..... It was a backup and I sold it, but should have kept it. It really is quite good.
19. Up for grabs is my US made Darkglass Vintage Microtubes. Pretty well known on BC by now, so will keep it short and sweet. In good nick, with just a few little scratches and velcro on the bottom. Comes with the box and such. Although I love this pedal, it hasn't ousted my Carl Martin Bassdrive which suits me a little better. Happy to snap picks over the weekend, but it is as described. £135,- + P&P (9 quid tracked Holland to UK)
