1. is there anything externally link wise showing the travels and/or current whereabouts of the bass? (google map??) thread is getting very long and is often difficult to try and figure out if it is nearby anywhere - thanks edit- just found the facebook page which seems to be most up to date - if anybody from pompey might be heading to kent/london direction i would be happy to meet up and collect and pass it on to 4strings tomorrow
 2.
I have a charity gig in East London on Saturday, any use?
i have gig in maidstone tonight is the bass anywhere near Kent at the moment? i could hand it over to 4strings tomorrow morning
 3.
Just 'normal' traffic. Saturdays are usually ok fingers crossed!
last year was some accident around J9/10(?) iirc - i was on M26 and heard the traffic news (3 hour queues) just in time to turn off so that i didnt have to do the 18 mile stretch to the next junction
 4. admit it youre stuck on SOF arent you listen to Bootsy - he teach you all bout the ONE
Can you count? If it's in 4/4 then you only need to count to 4, 5/4 requires an extra syllable. Ask the drummer if he'll do the counting out loud to start with.
haha - personally i find 'not conciously counting' them better than counting - if i try and start counting in my head and play at same time i probably stop breathing some fives are obvious fives and sound clumsy but what about the real clever fives that dont immediately strike you as being a five? Dave Brubecks Take Five is a very skilfully crafted 5 as is the chorus in Wind Up Working in a Gas Station

 13. i posted in gigs two days ago - 22 people have viewed it - i dont need or expect any reply although any that do reply are welcome to and i think it could be fairly safe to assume that a vast majority of the 22 viewers so far to look at it will in fact be local as i did purposely include the venue and location in the thread title nice bit of easy free advertising what's not to like?

 20. has this gone yet please? if not i would be interested as i butchered my previous nut to fit the heavy guage black nylons in
 21. LH500 + HyDrive 410 or even a 2500 or 3500 head is good too Hartke are sadly much underrated by those who are 'brand conscious' i feel, and I would challenge anyone to find better value for money from a good sounding rig great tone + reliability i gave up playing for about 15 years and when i resumed my first thoughts were to replace the old trace rig i used to have in early 90s ... until i saw the price tag ... so i took a gamble on the hartke rig and never regretted it - if anything i think it sounds better than my old 90s trace rig (even when they were half decent and not covered in carpet)
 22. For all you basschatters in north Kent please do feel free to come along
